I noticed a lot of people looking for information for Wyoming and got thinking that Missouri Counties have been putting their information on line. So I checked Wyoming counties and they are also starting to put their data online too. It is handy to have the landownership records at the county recorder's websites. Here is a master list for Wyoming counties that have the records online along with good maps: http://publicrecords.onlinesearches.com/Wyoming-Land-Records-and-Deeds.htm

I looked up Campbell County, there should be others that have the same information. Look in the “Online Services”, then online mapping, once the map comes up, zoom in till you can see the property boundaries and then click on the “I” (Identity) in the header to see who owns the property. You can also add city and waterways too. The zoom in feature is so good for Campbell County you can almost see animals on the ground.

Here are some more really good websites for Wyoming hunting and a good digital map. The first link shows the hunting units. If you go to the drop down box in the upper left side and you can pick units by species and zoom in to see all the available government ground in that area you want to hunt. The legend bar on the left shows what agency owns that parcel of land. If the map doesn't come up at first, just hit the home button. Here is the link:

The following map can be moved and used for any state and the picture quality is so much better than Google maps or any other ones I have used. It is used for earthquake data but you can unclick the earth quake boxes for geology and data basis. The ESRI street box can be used to show terrain and roads, but if you click on the ESRI imagery and unclick all the others you have an excellent satellite view in very good quality pictures!!

This last link is a printed flyer for the big game migration corridors in Wyoming.

Re: Wyoming hunting information

<span style="color: #CC0000"><span style="font-weight: bold">Guys... here is something you should buy for your GPS if you hunt Wyoming every year !!</span></span>

It will help you see all state, blm, private, forest service land, save you trouble, save you a ticket.... prove you are where you think you are.

A lot of landowners will tell you this is private land, when indeed it is state or blm and you have every right to be there.

Comes on a Mini SD card for your GPS. I run this software and I am a resident and professional guide here. It is invaluable !!
