Just a few pics of a nice Wyoming Mulie I killed this weekend. He's not the biggest hog on the mountain, but the situation was perfect, so we decided not to pass him up.

The shot was lasered by the Geovids at 638 yds, which was 3.2mil elevation adjustment -- 7wsm, 168gr BergerVLD. Bullet performance was excellent IMO, blew up the heart/lungs area and about a tennis ball sized exit.

Big thanks to my hunting buddy Alex (EOS here on the hide). He first spotted the deer, called out my ranges, and helped me drag and cape this big bodied mulie.

Without his help I would have not bagged this guy.

Here's the deer and rifle:

This is a public land mulie, special draw permit area near the CO/UT/WY tri-state border.

Re: Wyoming Mule Deer

Re: Wyoming Mule Deer

Thanks for all the comments guys! We had a great time, and another great chance to apply all that we've learned here over the years.

Re: Wyoming Mule Deer

Thanks for all the great comments fellas!

Also, I should thank my buddy Cory (Phylodog here on the Hide)of Nash Gunwerx for the great Cerakote job on the optic, rings and bipod. He does fantastic quality work, and turned it around super fast for me before my hunt. I could not possibly ask for better service!!!

Thanks Cory!
