Movie Theater X-files...

Oh oh, I know the perfect crew to write and direct it! Get the people who did "Lost"! They can just start with a great idea then just keep making up random shit as they go and never make any of it tie together coherently. Very much in the "X-Files" tradition and definitely box office success in the making!

Bingo!

The Lost folks are working behind Once Upon a Time, in Wonderland now. Between the scripted 'Reality' trash and this crap, TV is going right down the pooper.

People are so tired of stuff where the bait gets perpetually dangled in front of their noses while trudging in circular ruts. I think there's a run on Ouija boards in Burbank.

Enough, already!

Are you guys thinking that the TV show is being resurrected? It isn't. This is all for another X-files movie.

Please continue though. I got a chuckle out of reading some of the above, and I'm not being sarcastic, I agree.

I'm with you on that sentiment Jerry.

Between the two X-files movies however, my opinion is that the first movie matched more of the overall story and atmosphere, then the second movie. If they do make one, I hope they take the story seriously, because the story for the second one didn't really strike me as anything special..

In retrospect, and if you've never seen the TV show or have forgotten it, then you might think my critique about the second movie might be a little off center, but there is somewhat of a de facto set of guidelines, and ultimately standards, that the X-files created for itself in this. One of the most memorable episodes that I still remember is from the first season(?) I think. It was about a fluke, a liver worm parasite, that transformed into some humanoid, bi-pedal creature somehow.

All I can really hope for in this is a great story.
