Anyone have any experience with these Actions? I am wanting to do a 300 WM Long range hunting build for back country western (steep mountain) use. I want to cut some weight without compromising accuracy and reliability. Any first hand experience would be appreciated.

Mate that to a Proof Research CF wrapped barrel for a featherweight barreled action.
Not gonna help much with the Win Mag recoil, though.

Would you mind weighting the action with bolt, rail and recoil lug. their website only has the receiver at 9.8oz but not the action with all relevant parts.

I would but it's kinda all put together, lol

I have two. They are very nice, but probably more expensive than they need to be.

My trust horse serves that purpose pretty well but eventually you have to get off and climb......

While expensive, I figured that the action would last me a lifetime. So the extra buck didn't hurt as much with that justification in mind.
