Re: XDM in desert tan

Have not heard. If they have not changed the shade of tan they were using, then the glock tan looks better.
I like XD's OD but not glock's OD.
I like Glocks tan but not XD's tan.

Re: XDM in desert tan

Glock doesn't have a tan, MtnMan. Their OD looks more tan than green, but Glocks have only been offered in black or OD, not tan.

Those are practice guns, not fireable firearms.

Thats Odd, especially since I have a glock in tan and when I bought it, there was a od glock right next to it.

Re: XDM in desert tan

Those in the bottom pic are considered OD by Glock, at least they were. I can't speak for any current guns, maybe they changed in the last few months, but I do know that not long ago the only options were Black and OD. The shades of OD varied a fair amount, often being called tan by gun shop guys.

It's been a couple of years since I bought mine. The dealer had one of each color in the display case. Not sure what glock called them but it was clear that one was a tanish color and the other was a greenish color. I did not like the greenish color, so I bought the tanish color, which is just like the lower pic. Not sure what they offer now. Had no money to go gun shopping in a long time.

Here's mine.

Glock calls it "OD." They have never offered any other color besides this, and black. I can take a picture of my case if you like, or you can just check your three cases which will show the letters OD after the model number.
