I got sick of the xlr butt stock so I'm getting a adapter made to fit a mdt srs elite butt stock to my xlr chassis.much more adjustable and I'll be much happier

Xlr released a updated butt stock this year and it resembles the mdt. But... knowing xlr it will take months to ship.

Yes they did but it's less adjustable than the mdt, more expensive and not available

Good to know. MDT support told me they make an adapter to fit and it weighs " approximately 1.98lbs."
I was thinking about putting those mdt stock dampeners in it. Especially since the c6 is sold out every where. But given the weight of it and the adapter. I'll just order the TR-2 for NRL.
What didn't you like about your xlr stock?

Are they talking about the same thing? I can't see it weighing 2# even if it were Tungsten.
Maybe I'm the one that's confused.
I'm looking to adapt my HNT 26 buttstock to a base chassis that doesn't flex and flail on the bag or bipod. The xlr magnesium base and HNT buttstock would keep me under weight. I don't consider any of the xlr buttstocks an option. It looks like the OP's piece does just and maybe weighs 2 ozs.

I don't use the mdt one it's too long. mine is milled from aluminiumand would be would only way about 2 ounces at a guess. I like the mdt one far better. It's a lot more adjustable than the c6. They make light options as well

I could have worded that better. The MDT SRS stock weighs 2lbs. Plus the adapter to run on the xlr 4.0 (not sure the weight on the adapter). I was looking at MDT SRS stock to run on the xlr chassis since the c6 is sold out everywhere.
