Accessories XM-3, M40A3-6 SSAL/RE surefire USMC muzzle brake

I have a pretty salty/ battle worn used muzzle brake for those looking to build out the XM-3 pretty sure this is one of the brakes used as it has the locking serrations on it. Had to soak/ scrub it pretty good to show it real condition, I’m sure a goldsmith can get it back to original finish.

Do you know how far the barrel go into the brake? Or better yet, what is the added length to a barrel once brake is installed? Thanks.
