It is at times like this that I am grateful for the stockpile I've got put away which cost me less than $0.25/round when your basic M855 is fetching $0.80/round (before shipping costs tacked on which I'm sure will bring this closer to $0.95 or more per round)! YIKES!!!

Agreed. I don't really count the shipping part into the price per round though because it wouldn't matter whether It was $0.79 a round or $0.07 a round, it would still cost $18 to ship it. That probably sounds dumb, but its just the way I see things. Either way, I'd rather pay $79.99/100 than pay some asshole over $1 a round for surplus stuff. In today's market, this is pretty reasonable.

I got 500 rounds of this stuff at $0.55 a round the day after Obama got reelected. With the prices I've seen since then, including the shootings and political climate, the cost of XM855 has over doubled. Like you said, I'm glad I stocked up before all the madness happened.
