Don't ask why I'm only comparing these two but which one is better? Which has better glass? Which is more durable? Which is more repeatable? I would be after a Horus reticle on either.

They’re kinda different. The XRS is heavier and 4.5-30 zoom range.
The mark6 is more of a lighter weight mid range SPR scope.

    More durable/repeatable ? XRS
    Glass ? MK6
    Weight ? MK6

    Horus reticle ? :poop:

If they’re the same price, I’d take the Mark6 just because it’s worth more then dump it on the PX and buy something else with the cash.

Had them both, a few of them actually and interestingly, i'd agree with most of that with one exception.
I do appreciate the H59 option for both.

However, after having both...I would still buy a Gen 1 XRS in FDE and H59 for the right price...but I wouldn't buy a Mk6 again BECAUSE it held it's value better. For the price difference between an old er MK6 and a newer MK5....I'd just get a MK5.

But you can probably snag a Gen1 XRS for 7-800 bucks, if you can find it.
