XS sight XTI, any input?

Really like the idea of having BUIS zeroed for 50 yards always on the rifle and having my MIL optic on the upper. Also not having to remove either one of them EVER seems pretty handy.

These are looking pretty good to me. I called them to inquire if they'd mount to the left side of the rifle since I'm a "special needs shooter" and the rep said they absoulely would.

Never tried them, but I tried the big dots on my XDM and hated them. I found I ended up being slower to get the same accuracy just because there is no "defined" sight picture like front post in notch. I have recently switched all my Glocks to the Ameriglo I-Dot Pro, bright orange ring gives the "big dot" effect but keeps a traditional sight picture. I personally wouldn't put them on my rifle, but I like the Eotech with traditional BUIS setup. I can see it potentially being beneficial if you run magnified optics, but I would try out the big dot sight picture if you haven't yet...you may like it or not, seems to be a love it or hate it thing. Since I hate it on a pistol, I have no desire to try it on my AR.

Bought 'em. waited two months for delivery from XS directly. Mounted on a Rainier 14.5" upper. They have made the rear sight too short. I the lowest front site postition the sight picture is a golf ball on a tee above the V. Contacted the company and their response was that is the only height we have. If you want 'em I'll sell you mine. My advice is pass.

I'm sure if you had a problem with them, then there's a good chance I will too. I'll take your advice and pass. Thanks for saving me $150 retail!

Guess I'll be looking into some quality BUIS and a quick detach scope mount. Wonder what the final bill from LaRue will be? I'm going to rebarrel the rifle for 6.5 Grendel eventually so I definately want a magnified optic on top.
