I got my hands on some of the new xtech mags. Full disclosure, I know the owner & I'm a fan but I do not have any stake in the company.
Well I gave them them the Mario Kart treatment with sizeable rocks under them. 1 took some real damage but still functioned as it should. No doubt a steel mag would have been pancake'd. I ran them over 4 times for good measure.
I really like that Xtech is a small company that still listens to the customers.
Sadly the magazine didn't pass the "tank test" but I didn't really expect it would. Let's be honest, it was just an excuse to play with a tank.
