Hello All,
Was just wondering if there's anyone out there that has ever dealt with Xtreme Machining out of Grassflats, Pennsylvania? I put in an order with them last year and was assured that my .338 Xtreme would be delivered in the latter part of January 2012.
Well, it's now almost the end of August 2012 and still no gun. I have called no less than 60 or 70 times since January and have only gotten in touch with the owner twice. The last time that I was actually able to establish contact with him, he had supposedly just gotten out of the hospital for a heart attack.
Now, I'm not heartless, so I left it alone for another 3 to 4 weeks or so and then started trying to establish contact once again. Also, during the last conversation, he assured me that my gun was in fact fully completed and that it, along with all of the accessories would be shipped out to my local FFL dealer with two days at the latest. That was over two months ago.
I am now at my wits end, so to speak. Here is my question; Has anyone ran into the same problems in the past, that I am curretly experiencing now? If so, what did you do about it? I really want this gun, but my patience is running very thin at this point. I am currently contemplating the thought of either making a trip to Xtreme Machining's shop in Pennsylvania in person, or to maybe get someone from my legal department on this, and one way or the other, be done with it once and for all.
