I recetly got my LTA, and haven't had much time to play with it. I loaded up some test loads for my 308 and 300 blackouts. But I haven't had time to really shoot with the can. I have plans on doing that this weekend. I've got about 200 rounds of subs loaded up to shoot!

Does anyone else have this can, and have a really good review of it?

I'll give a little quick review. I got to use the LTA last weekend on 3 different rifles. I started with my 300 blackouts, shooting 220gr SMK, 1020FPS, the LTA was quiet. Shooting my 8" 300blk, 220gr SMK at 930FPS, it was very quiet. It sounded like a supressed .22 caliber. I was really impressed with it.

Moving on to my mossberg spx 30-30, while I didn't have any subsonics, I shot the 165gr supers through the can. It gave a very distinct crack, like a whip. The ear deafening loudness was gone. Still want to load some subs and try it.

Moving on to my bolt action .308. I first shot 168gr supers through the can. Again, the whip like crack and could shoot all day without hearing protection. I was impressed. So then I loaded my 165gr subsonic ammo, 990-1020FPS, and WOW. At first I thought I had a misfire. I heard the firing pin strike the primer. I realized when I ejected a shell that the bullet had indeed fired. I was shooting in a wide open field, so i never got an echo. I set up another target, metal, at 150 yds and shot again. All I could hear was the round hitting the target. It was literally quieter than my Gamo Whisper pellet gun.

The can is a very good can in my opinion. It's quieter than my buddy's AAC can. Not much but you can tell the difference. The QD mount that the YHM utilizes is great. It makes swapping between weapons fast and effective. The only downfall to that is that you have to have the same Flash Hider on the weapons you want to shoot suppressed. And the fast that they are about $80 each depending on where you buy them. Overall, I am very happy with the LTA.
