getting ready to have my barrel cut and threaded (YHM 7.62 on order)...was thinking about using YHM for the threading so there is no problem w/ warranty...any input is welcome....thanks in advance...this forum has been great

ive never had them thread my barrel but I usually only send the barreled action without the bolt.
Or I thread them myself at a local machine shop.

Have a Phantom 762 on order myself. Will be sending my barrel to YHM for threading this week.

well i contacted YHM and they advised that they could not thread a tapered barrel like my savage has...

I have a threaded YHM Phantom 7.62, great can for the money, quiet as a friend's Gemtech HVT.
Any good smith can thread a barrel.
