No, not that one you pervs! The one you get when your going through an old jacket, or pair of pants, and find $100-200 bucks. Well, it's a cold, rainy day, and I decided to clean some clothes out of my closet that I haven't worn in several years, and pitch them. Well, way in the back on the floor, I find a 2000rd case of 9mm, and a 2160rd case of 7N6 5.45 ammo that I had forgot about. When I discovered it, I remembered I had a water leak 7-8 years ago, and had moved it there to keep it dry while I repaired the leak. Then the oldtimers must've struck, and I forgot about it. It was a nice surprise, and I don't have to do the ArmyJerry, and buy more ammo this month!

I'd be happy if I could just find the 10 Wolff mag springs that I bought for my Sig 4 months ago........

With my memory issues/problems that I have now, half the time I'm looking for something that "I know I have/had one, but haven't a clue where the hell it is"...

The other half of the time I'm looking at something and thinking "where the hell did this come from, and is it mine or did I borrow it from someone?"

Not very often though, is it ever "what the hell is this, and what's it do???" HA

I was known wide an far for making special tools an Jigs. It was only about 25 years ago I learned to mark/label them. Still finding some to this day an scratching my head all day trying to remember what I made it for. Then about 2-4 days later at 0200 I wake up knowing.

Old age sucks ,..... more so if you were stupid,....

If your anything like me, when you find them it's gonna be one of two responses: 1. Oh yeah, I remember putting them there now, or 2. Why the hell would I put them here?

Or 3... what the hell else do I have that I don’t remember putting somewhere.

I grabbed an old flannel shirt once that I hadn’t worn in years. When I put it on I found $1300 in the pocket. Diann and Randy love when that happens! ???

The worst one to ever happen to me......well I did it to myself anyway, was when I'd been drinking a bit, and decided I needed to hide the gunsafe key in a different spot. Apparently I'm pretty creative after a few beers. No one was going to find it......including me.

    drinking and hiding shit???
i may as well throw that shit off a cliff

Lol! Yeah, I don't do that anymore. Seemed like a good idea at the time? I was getting fairly close to a panic by the time I found it. I had stuck it in a box of 9mm ammo, and there was a very large stack of ammo. On the bright side I no longer have that particular safe, got one with a dial combo............now if I don't forget the combo I'll be good on that front, although it does have a key to lock the dial.....................
