No they are Not, they are what you would expect from a $100 scope, the are fine for folks who are just getting started IE one of the kids etc but that is as far as I would want to go with one.

Even for target detection over 60x is a waste pack space. I have a 20-60X100 great for the bench, but in the woods the 20x an 22x rifle scopes are more than enough for steel hits or real target detection. Most people think bigger is better however, the old rule less is more holds more water.
