Zeiss Conquest V6 3-18x50 Parallax & High Magnification

I’ve got two Zeiss Conquest V6 3-18x50s on a 6.5 Creedmoor and 308.

At low magnification the glass is excellent. I have noticed at 16-18x the image quality deteriorates and the parallax focus doesn't fully sharpen the image.

Also, in both scopes there is a very slight amount of parallax at long ranges at infinity setting.

Anyone else have similar findings?

I’ll respond to my own thread because I found a resolution. When setting up this scope, I did not completely focus the reticle. I did set parallax at infinity, set magnification at 18x and focus reticle against a blank wall. I discovered last night I needed an additional 1/4 turn on the fast focus eye piece to sharpen the reticle so that on full zoom, the image will sharpen and the parallax is corrected.

I confirmed this morning at distant objects the scope functions properly. Great glass.
