Rifle Scopes ZEISS DIAVARI-DA 1.5 6x Information HELP

I am hoping someone on this forum can help. I am looking for some information on this scope as to how to operate it. I know it is a nice scope and my daughter want to mount it to her AR platform for some longer distance shooting. We just don't understand the relationship with the yellow click adjustment dial and then there is the MOA adjustments which we are not sure as to what increments they are. We have already tried to sight it in on an HK platform but could not zero it in. There was not enough elevation adjustment. we are doing something wrong I am sure. We need some one who has some familiarity wit this scope to help us out.

To zero the rifle (100m) you losen the two screws on top of the turret and zero the rifle with the coin slot. Allign the now loose BDC cam at 100m and fasten the screws

Mounted on a HK G3 (HK91) with HK mount the yellow numbers are close range zero. At white 2 (200m) close range zero is 45meters. At white 3 (300m zero), close range zero is 30 meters, etc.
