Rifle Scopes Zeiss Diavari Question

If I got the 6-24x56 or 3-12x56 Diavari could I get the Locking knobs with .1 mil turrets that are on the FL models put on the regular Diavari scope? Zeiss doesnt include any information about changes on their website. Im not sure which one im interested in because the 3-12x is FFP with .1mil adjustments and the 6-24x is SFP with .05mil adjustments. Its always a compromise!!

Question, Do you guys think the 3-12x magnification is suitable for 1000yds shooting? The glass is great but The scope has factory set parallax to 100yds. I typically shoot at 250yds max and have never had to use parallax adjustment for any really long distance shooting.

For steel,

you are ok,

smaller targets

not so much,

according to how I see things.

Will it work yes, is it optimal no.
