Re: Zeroing Question

Go to JBM Ballistics and put in your info to find out.

Trajectory Simplified will do it easily with a small amount of data put into the program.

STOP thinking in clicks. Either MOA or Mils depending on what your scope is set up for. Counting clicks are the best way to get lost when dialing on long range data. Your Zeiss should have target knobs with big numbers on them. Those are the MOA. So if you need 10 MOA you are not going to count 40 clicks are you when you can just dial to the 10 MOA mark quickly and easily?

Re: Zeroing Question

Thanks for all your help. I used two calculators and got two different answers. I figured it was best to run it by the pro's to check and not waste ammo. Rob01, your right...I need to get my verbage squared away, thanks.

Re: Zeroing Question

Just curious, but are you saying that your velocity is 2361? Isn't that a little slow?

Re: Zeroing Question

head2h2o, you saved me some pain...I thought so to, on the Zeiss ballistic calculator, I read the muzzle velocity for the Rem Premier 165 gr Accutip as 2361 fps. I just rechecked their website and found out I put the wrong data in (didn't follow instructions). Your right, it's 2700 with a BC of 0.447. Thanks for making me go back and check!
