Rifle Scopes ZRO Delta mount question

Anyone has a ZRO Delta mount, the hand adjustable one ? How they do hold on centerfire rifles (say .308/6.5 Cm)? Would you do the manual torque or just use a regular wrench?

All I know is the base is too thick and the erector housing will bottom out with a lot of scopes. I would look at a Spuhr or just go with a set of rings. They look and feel solid, but someone didn't do their homework when they came up with the dimensions.
