I’ll answer my own question since they finally got back to me. For anyone who’s interested, the La Chassis can fit 1.25” barrel diameter. I’ll let everyone know for sure once I get my build done.

Per his Instagram post last night, he claimed 250 were sold as soon as the email went out. Wondering what his numbers are this morning.

Anyone here have a newer version (Gen 2) Grey Birch La Chassis? I was wondering how large of a barrel it can accommodate before any modification has to be done. On a whim I took advantage of the limited blowout deal they were having on them a few days ago.

Correct. Any competent person can enlarge the channel but just passing on that Manners themselves is not offering wider channels for the CZ 457 TCS.

I just wanted to update this information for others wanting to order a TCS for the CZ 457. Manners is NOT offering barrel channel widening. I just canceled my order quote after they verified that the max barrel diameter you can fit is 1”. I am well aware that the channel can be opened up later...

Is it safe to assume existing barrels can be used after extractor cuts are made?

I have more group pics in the main RimX thread but this is from this morning with some Eley Match lot testing. Barrel is a Preferred Barrel Blanks barrel chambered by Mike Manzella.

Mine feels pretty snug but then again I’m using an Axiom. Don’t know if that makes a difference.

Have another chassis you can test?

The newer magnetic printed ECI have shorts nubs that should not touch the chamber wall. They are smaller and pretty stout. I’ve never shot my rifle long enough to even get it hot. If you’re breaking shit off or scratching your chamber you have bigger issues at hand.
