Question (potentially ignorant) on barrel swaps between two Ruger American Predators (.308 / 6.5cm

Yes, with a barrel nut set up you can headspace it to each action just fine. Check headspace with a go gauge.

Gunsmithing Question on Freebore for 6.5 CM barrel

My saami chamber requires a binderless plate mag to seat my rdfs closer to the lands so I see no problem taking to .150 Can’t speak to factory hornady ammo fitting or not though.

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

I don’t have one myself but I would test what they say and take the firing pin out and then run the bolt, still tilting down dragging?

    SD's in .223 /5.56

It may be fudd lore that doesn’t make it wrong. Every time someone asks about piercing primers in 223/5.56 they are using 400s. I know I have had that experience. 400s aren’t a high pressure primer.

Checking SD with Brand New Brass, or Once Fired???

Develop for the manner in which it will be shot. If you have enough virgin to shoot a match like that then develop it. If you won’t then develop it in once fired. I either case I would pay more attention to what it actually shoots like on target rather than what excel tells you it’s doing.

Bullet length (weight) and Rifle twist (something similar several month ago)

gyroscopic stability, its just a lil physics A musket ball which is a sphere where the center of pressure is its center of gravity, cant tumble. Its perfectly stable. Its just not very aerodynamic. For better aerodynamics you need to make it pointy and to get more mass in a given caliber its...

    ES inverse of accuracy

Labradar is radar, thus it collects bunches of radar ping returns over time and distances and calculates the curve making a best fit line and by extrapolation that line can trace it back to what it would have been at the muzzle. It’s collecting every shot at 10 and 40 yard. And 2, 8, 15, 23, 35...

    6.5 creedmoor srp

The best fix could be bushing your firing pin to more closely match the small primers diameter (.075 large pin vs .062 small pin). Which lessens the span that the thin primer material alone must resist the pressure pushing out in it which is what leads to the getting holes blown through them...

To those who say lower cost guns aren't "accurate"..

Cheap guns can be great if you ignore everything about them thats shit and only focus on the good. My preferred cheap gun is the ruger american. Its a clunky fucking turd but it shoots alright at 100yds.
