I am running a 22" barrel and with H4350 the fastest I could push the 162's was 2,660 before getting pressure. With Varget I was able to get that 162 moving 2,814 with no pressure. Since N140 and Varget are so close in burn rate I would venture to say that would work well. Just sent off a 24"...

I shoot in my backyard most days and also utilize the Kraft drill but I guess I more place the rifle in the bag as opposed to dropping it there. Have 3 different match rifles with different chassis/stocks, barrels and either Leupold Mark 5 or ATACR's.
Why practice at all if you have no plan to compete, if with nobody other than yourself? The first things you learn in competition is what you don't know. I enjoy shooting, the camaraderie of being with like minded folks but more than anything I enjoy improving my skill set and seeing my scores...
