Ah yeah that’s right d Wilson. I might send out a few of my mws and mrp barrels to get worked on. The brt has my interest as well. Removing the gas tube fairly simple on the lmt barrel? No need for a press right ?
All my muzzle brakes are extremely obnoxious, hence why they work so well! Precision armament, apa, you get the drift. But I promise I’m not a complete dick. I usually start my range sessions suppressed on the bench, then when I’m warmed up it’s party time!!
The range is at the nra headquarters and it’s a nice range that goes to 50 yard. I’m sure they have decent ventilation. So reading the comments and thinking back to other range days at different ranges I am almost 100 percent sure it’s the lube I’ve been using. I just lubbed the bolt before...
Shot at the local nra range today. Running an lmt upper 16 inch with a precision armament brake, vtor a 5 buffer system. I like to shoot really fast, every time I go out there the range officers ask if I’m shooting an automatic. So in any case I fairly quickly shoot 150 rounds of pmc 223. I...
Another interesting fact about this rifle is that it’s on a b west receiver which in some cases can be problematic. However, it has the made in china and norinco marking so it’s safe and good to go. If it didn’t have those markings it would be a us made receiver that was not heat treated...
Pre ban typically refers to pre 1989 when the rifles came threaded with a stock etc. These rifles were built between 1990-94 and so they would be considered post ban. However, since its marked Norinco than it means it was a left receiver from the pre ban era so people call these transitional...
I’ll def consider the seekins. What type of accuracy are you getting on your lmt versus seekins? What types of barrels are they? I’ve had bad experience with a ga precision 308 a few years back with regards to reliability, so it’s kind of soured my experience with those.
Been out of the game for a bit now but I need to find a reliable and accurate 6.5 gas gun. I’m usually an lmt fanboy and it’ll probably be my choice but seeing what the others with experience think. Another option was the scar 20 s in 6.5 but I’m hearing reports of popped primers, and when...
Point is jdi has been consistently bringing stuff in and they will most likely continue. For example dave has had in stock 551s for over a year. Trying to say this is the last batch, get it while you can it’s the oldest sales technique in the book. There is a reason these guns for the most part...
You’re spreading misinformation on your overpriced ad and then crying that your ad is getting shit on?!! 550 and 552 are still being imported. In fact dave has orders for 552 tomorrow and 550 next month. 550,551,751 have been consistently coming in for the the last 4 yrs plus, so stop making...
Trigger is supposed to be ar compatible, however, I tried to fit a triggertech trigger in it and it wouldn’t run correctly due to some clearance issue that I can’t remember now. Maybe with the bcg. However triggers like geisseles shouldn’t be an issue
