Only because I think the price is too high, I wouldn't run a SCS with a non adjustable gas block. There would be too much jacking around to get it to work and you'd be left with entirely too much extra stuff that would end up in a drawer.
It has somewhere around 10 screws plus the action screws. I think they go in and out easily enough with a torque wrench set ti the proper spec. I wish it was more quick detach but it's probably not practical. I have a buddy that is a lefty. He really likes it.
Covered handguard, folding stock, good quality. All I said was that it looked like a JP. I could have said that about any other chassis. I'm a JP fan and, so far, I have no reason to think the Spur is any better or worse than anything else I've seen. It's an opinion. The pictures I put up...
First time shooting this. Tripod for standing, wood shooting bench for kneeling, fold up hunting chair for seated, and prone. I was attempting to do free recoil to reduce wobble.
