    Tikka T3 Thread

Yeah, when I read “lightweight and stiff! Only $$$!” I think, the factory stocks are lightweight and stiff, and I have spray paint.

Didn’t see the tikka option. In fact, when I searched their site for “tikka” it didn’t come up.

The 9th circus says felon has right to guns

The decision relates to non-violent felonies only. Read the actual decision, not the paraphrased version in the news.

    .308 Winchester

I have a box of 50 of the original 200 grain X bullets, that were mollied, and then unmollied. Any recommendations on how to load these in my 308? Or any interest in a trade?

    22 arc bolt

Brownell's has the mini actions occasionally, haven't seen a 22 ARC yet, but its just a matter of time. https://www.brownells.com/howa-barreled-actions/?facets=SpecialFilterTags%3AIn-stock&sort=NumberOfReviews

Ruger is making the Gen 2 Americans in 22 ARC. Not top shelf, but a cheap way to get into the game.

Off topic completely, sorta, what's the best heavy for caliber in a 6.5 Creedmoor? Wind, energy, you know, the thing....

Accessories Tikka 243 Winchester 1-8” twist 20” barrel, blue.

Tikka 243 Winchester 1-8” twist 20” barrel, blue. Unfired except at the factory. Decided to head in a different direction. This picture isn’t my barrel, but I bought it from the guys who posted the picture on eBay. And mine is the exact same. Not threaded at the muzzle. $155 plus split actual...

Gunsmithing Gunsmith said this about installing a Tikka prefit

No. I use a socket wrench. That was misstated. I use the torque wrench when I install a barrel.

Gunsmithing Gunsmith said this about installing a Tikka prefit

I bolted my barrel vise to a two by four. I wrap the barrel in an old toilet paper tube trimmed to fit one lap around the barrel and then tighten the barrel vise bolts. I stand on one end and slide the other end under a ledge on my gun safe. Insert the action wrench into the action, attach a...

Rifle Scopes Anyone with situational awareness or insider knowledge of when SWFA will drop the new fixed power scopes with the new reticle?

If you’re shooting off the reticle and not dialing, the tree is nice. While there may be better solutions, I have seven athlons and the same in Arkens, the fixed 6 works well for hunting where I hunt. The last two game animals I missed, as in they ran off, were because I was dicking around...

9mm Hardcast Projectiles for Woods Defense

Phil Shoemaker, famous Alaskan hunting and fishing guide, shot a grizzly at point blank range with the Buffalo Bore Outdoorsman using a Glock 43. Six shots, I think all except one went all the way through. Rimrock provided the bullets to Buffalo Bore, and it’s not hard to replicate Buffalo Bore...
