U.S. Optics was contracted by the USMC to change some of the MST-100's over to MST-150's to fill their need for optics for the Barret. I can't tell you exactly how many were done, but it was not a bunch by any means. Hope that helps! John III
I am not sure if they are going to release this model in the USA, probably don't want to compete with the US version for sales. I can tell you the FOV at 1X is pretty good, no curvature of field to speak of. John III
Hey Everyone, going out on a limb here, does anyone have a Revic scope that I could borrow/look at for a couple of days? I don't want to shoot it, just look at it. I am South of Dallas area now, but if you can ship to me I will pay for all costs, or send a FedEx label. I will return something...
For that price I would snatch it up! You can get another 3 hole cap for zeroing from them I'm sure, if not I probably have one laying around somewhere. I think the screw you are speaking about is actually on the magnification adjustment ring not the parallax adjustment. This IS a normal screw...
Hey Everyone, After a short stint with a POS manufacturer, I am now back to the Alpha gig. After I turned this over to Chris about 5 years ago so I could concentrate on USO, I have now decided to come back and get this thing running smoothly. As you all know Chris has a full time job at the...
Rambob, 1st Class Tactical (Lazy21 here on the Hide) has the SR8s scopes in stock as well as Tacticla Firearms. We willl start shipping the SR8c models to the dealers in the next couple of weeks. John III
Re: U.S. Optics SR-8 BigJimFish Shot Report. I was amazed at the comments about the blue LED at SHOT. I didn't think that it would be received as well as it was. Anyone who gets one of these with a blue LED in it, I would like to hear your opinions after some use. Thansk, John III
Re: MST-100s new Larger font? whats the deal? The serial number might be a tad larger, but the "USMC SNIPER" should be the same as th epast runs. I personally engrave the serial numbers myself and I didn't make any changes. The only thing that might have happened is the machine got bumped...

Re: Best Eyebox on a high power scope Most all optical companies that I have seen use the term "exit pupil" to describe the diameter of the area projected on your eye at the given eye relief. Just was curious because the image projected onto the eye is anything but a box, it is a circle...
Re: USO spotting scopes BTW- our FOS (Field Observation Scope) has had a change made to it that has opened up the FOV by about 20+%, but it still has retained the 3" of eye relief. John III
Re: USO SN4 DFP Reticle Questions Yes, both the RFP and FFP are parallax free at the given yardage that the scope is set at. Fatory setting is 100 yards unless requested otherwise. John III
Re: Best Eyebox on a high power scope Just curious as to where the hell the term "eye box" came from? Until about a month or two ago I had never heard that term, and I have been doing this for over 20 years. Just curious if there was some major publication/article that used this term. John III
Re: USO EREK holey cap - question about waterproofness Yes, sir, you must have that solid cap on the knob to make it water tight. Send Becky an email at [email protected] and she will get you a tool kit in the mail. Thanks, John III

Re: New US Optics Scopes? Making sure it is going to be perfect. We should have these ready to deliver mid October at the latest. Will start taking preorders soon. John III
