Thanks for posting, always interesting to see the variance in brands. I have observed similar results with the PMC M193, it has been the most accurate "cheap" ammo that I have found across a couple of rifles.
Appreciate the write up. I've never handled the Larue "quick detach" handguards in person, how would they compare to the traditional handguard they provide on the standalone uppers? Do they stay tight over time?
Have one, am happy with it. Feels like it was worth the money and the glass on mine (relatively recent production) is much better than I expected. Hard to say there's a difference in the glass quality between it and my ATACR.
I will third that Black Hills transitioned to Hornady projectiles in 2023 for the 5.56 OTM. The MK262 remains with the Sierra bullet. In my testing of recent batches of ammunition I have found 5.56 OTM and MK262 to shoot identical velocities. IMI Razorcore 77gr is approximately 80-100 FPS slower...
I hope they succeed, I'd love to see a N. American scope manufacturer do well especially if it leads to a greater variety of scopes. At the current price tag the off-kilter elevation knob would drive me nuts; I would not be able to live with that. Fanboy'n hard in this post. My personal...
Do you know how it stacks up against all the other options if this is your first tactical rifle? Do you have experience with Surgeons, Defiance, BAT, etc.?
That looks great! Has me thinking I wouldn't mind sending one back to have the top and rear of slide serrated as well as recoated. Can you comment on what those items cost?
Love my G29's (two third gens); carry them, shoot them, never had an issue. Tried a G19 third gen and it kept throwing brass in my face, sent it back to Glock and it came back still throwing brass in my face. Ended up selling that particular G19 but it wouldn't stop me from buying another one...
Can't comment on the 180 Accubond specifically but I've had the same experience as the others; while my primary 308 does great with Hornady, Federal, and Remington match ammo it just never shot well with the Black Hills.
Agreed; it's not terribly expensive if you reload and buy in quantity. I can actually beat the prices I listed, but admit I am very opportunistic about purchasing reloading components. I tried to use real world numbers that one could find at the drop of a hat. If you're willing to wait and...

Are you truly so stupid as to think the name of the company is "Seekens" and continue using it when the proper spelling has been demonstrated in numerous other posts?
