IMO--Any barrel "maker" that does not immediately test the hardness of the extension when presented with this evidence should be avoided. And publicize the results.

I've decapped hundreds of live primers. Re-used most of them later in practice ammo. Never had a single one detonate during decapping. I HAVE however had a couple detonate when using a hand primer seating tool.

This has to be planted propaganda. If "they" didn't WANT this to be known, it wouldn't be.

If you don't want to resize the brass again in the process, adjust your decapping pin lower in the die. Go slow.
