    tactical pants

Duluth trading ultimate flex firehose work pants with the knee pad inserts. If you don't want the knee pad slots built in, the flex firehose pants are a bit lighter (cooler in the summer) or the dry on the fly nylon based pant. I like my TAD gear pants too, but the duluth pants are the same...

Suppressors Are these damaged baffles? SF-SOCOM762 on a Seekins 300 Blackout 16" barrel

Surefire has installation notes that specifically voids the warranty if the mount is not installed properly. Crush washers are a no-go -- Surefire shims only. That being said, I do recall a thick shim being included with the surefire shim pack. Are you certain it is a crush washer? It will...

    Remington 700 Switch-barrel - Why wouldn't this work?

I ran a switch barrel for F-class for years that was very lightly torqued - I didn't need more than 20 ftlb. Try shooting groups tightening in 10 ftlb steps to see if you see a difference. I didn't. I settled on 20 ftlb since the removal torque matched the install torque there. Any looser and...

Any 777 pilots here? Can the cabin pressure be shut off at the cockpit?

Easy boys, no need for personal attacks if you disagree with someone. Will the triple make it to 450 - most likely it will depending on weight. Yes, that is above it's certified service ceiling. There are additional requirements for certification for flight above certain altitudes, so the...

Pupil of the Art of the Tactical Rifle Dot ORG *Video*

Damn near pissed my pants! I thought it looked like a Surgeon Malpractice action to me, but that Stiller Chlamydia looks like she works pretty good. I take it she has been "used" by other operators a number of times? Or was she a virgin receiver when you got her?

    Gunsmithing Cerakoting ring interiors.

Cover the inner area of the rings in blue painter tape and cut it along the edge so there is no overhang. You will have to replace the tape after blasting and before painting. Comes out perfect.

Does your block fit under a Noveske NSR rail?

    Jewell triggers are pussies

I have had good luck with allowing longer overtravel - tip I got from a F-class shooter - and have not broken another one since; even with pierced primers.

    Jewell triggers are pussies

That is a well known issue with Jewell triggers. Stop piercing primers - load lower or have the firing pin bushed - or switch triggers. FWIW: I have had factory rem triggers break from pierced primers too.

Which Switchblock? Does it REALLY matter?

The switchblock gas tubes are not standard tubes and are already attached so you would have to cut it shorter which may lead to issues. Also, I believe the porting in the block is tuned for length.

Fieldcraft How to carry heavy barreled beast

Put that thing on a diet! The older I get the more I realize I am no longer the twenty something I wish I still was. I have gone to lighter tapers and shorter barrels and don't feel I have given up much, especially when I factor in that I am much less tired when I go to take a shot.

    Gunsmithing barrel work after cerakoat?

Depends on how it is done. On a steady rest you will wear away finish, thru the headstock should be fine especially if using a soft metal between the jaws and the barrel. I have done a number thru the headstock with no noticeable wear to the Cerakote.

    Gunsmithing Cerakote coming off

Yep, exactly. To keep the action smooth and prevent binding it needs to be applied very thin and blasting with AL oxide - which is what NiC recommends - is a bad idea. I have been applying Cerakote to guns since the product came out. Even if applied per spec the finish will wear due to the...

I don't think they do any color of tritium other than green. You would have to ask them. Their prices are on their website.
