Yeah I can see the Rattler wins on the discreet front. But what about in handling? I wouldnt mind giving up a little size for handling. I held the Rattler in the LGS and it actually reminded me of a subcompact pistol. Sure its small but Im not confident id shoot it well so I carry a midsize...
I have been wrestling back and forth between the sig and a DD Mk18. I find myself leaning toward the DD because basically I can indefinitely support it being basically an ar. I handled the Honey Badger but the stock setup seemed.....delicate.
Nothing has changed about twist rate has it? Barrel inbound was supposed to be 1-9. Received 1-8. Figured Id check on the latest intel before sending it back.
Its a great mount. That is the mount I use on most rifles I have. In particular on the SCAR as it allegedly has been confirmed it generates some odd harmonics. But aside from that my personal feeling is that the heavy bolt carrier slinging back and forth could induce a little extra whip in a...
JC your experiences mirror my own. But I kept the OBR and the SCAR 17 :D The EMC is my go to. My OBR is for when I want to shoot groups on the ground. The SCAR is for abuse!

My KAC has a chromed lined barrel too. But it is considerably more accurate than my MWS was. I find changing optics more conducive to a role change then the barrel. 1.2 pounds is considerable. Forget the humping it all over creation part, just in a course of fire it matters. Im 6'2" 255lbs so...
I see what your saying. Although I have heard it directly that you "could" use a standard 5.56 bolt in an e3 in a pinch I have never heard the same for the SR25 platform, from KAC at least.
Ive owned them all. Still own most of them. Like my EMC head and shoulders above the rest. Pretty much matches my OBR for accuracy with less weight. I have had no reliability issues with any of them but reports from those I trust behind the fence tell me the KAC's are the only ones that stay...
