N140, I’m out of town but will try to remember to get the powder charge when I get back. I know I’m using mdt Poly 223 mags and seating all the way out. I ran this load in my tikka with PVA barrel and now in my origin with proof barrel. The proof is showing more pressure than the PVA barrel.

I was using lapua, recently picked up some starline to test out since lapua prices have gone up so much. The starline brass had more consistent weight over 20 cases than the lapua so I’m excited to do more testing to see how it compares.

I haven’t used varget, it’s just a really hot load. I was initially ok replacing brass every couple firings since it’s so cheap but I don’t really have the need for that much speed. Dropping the velocity 100fps only adds a couple inches of drift at 800 yards with a 10mph cross wind.

I have been running n140 and 88eldms in my 223 at 2830 but it’s really hot and need to lower the charge. Primer pockets are starting to get loose on the 4th firing. It’s a killer load though and as mentioned was equal to my 6br with 108 eldms.

Mind sharing your load and velocity with the 88’s and n150? I’m running 88’s and n140 currently in a proof/origin. I don’t have access to my load data but was running low 2800’s but primer pockets aren’t lasting long. Going to try and slow it down some.

Still available, open to trades toward binos with a reticle, maybe a spotting scope with reticle, .224 75 eldms, 80 SMK, 6mm match bullets, Forster 6.5 cm dies, tbac or ckye arca bipods. Maybe other stuff…….

I dig it…….. just not the prices. Looks like a bravo which I really liked the ergos of but higher quality and all the adjustments, upgrades, and improvements I would want other than I don’t see a night vision bridge option……..

How are the apex binos as far as glass quality? Worth the extra expense over the bushnell and athlon binos with retitles?

My logic was more the suppressor will be useful on multiple hosts. Yes your paying the same $200 but just seems to get close to the same length, and should have higher velocity. Just my opinion.

Is the 3.5” really going to make a difference in your maneuverability????? To me it isn’t worth ruining a muzzle device by pinning and welding it, the cost of cutting and threading the barrel again, or if you don’t pin and weld the expense of registering the receiver on a form 1……. If I wanted...

Had my final range day with my tikka last weekend. It’s been a great rifle but I went to the dark side with an Origin. Sold the barreled action to a guy on here so hopefully it lives on hahaha. If anyone is looking for an XLR envy pro it’s posted in the classifieds.
