As a basic starting point. If I am shooting and constantly hitting one mil dot low I need to adjust 3.4XXX MOA on the turrets? Or about 14 "clicks"(.25 MOA)
Bought the scope as it was budget priced, but seemed like a good bang for the buck. Went mil dot as I figured many people had used them for many years. Idea was that gave me a good pool to pull from. Didn't realize the recital and turrets where different systems, that is kinda stupid no?
Im also trying to learn when to change the turret and when to just hold over. Seems alot changes when you arent just shooting at a target that is always standing still at 100 yards....lol
Not really. .25moa is one click. but there are clicks between the numbers. every 4th click is a number. So one full rotation is 15moa? Why would they make a complete rotation 15 and not 10 or something like that?
Okay, a stupid question for the stupid question section..... Have an SWFA 10 power scope. Im new to using turrets at different ranges. Used to just setting a scope up and always using the rifle at a fixed range. So the dumb question is what the value range is on the turrets. Scope has a...
Drake do you have a showroom? Ive been trying to get my hands on the LSS to see how it feels. Im on the island too. You a member of LIF? The top piece is a bit much. Dont see the need/use at all. Seems like it makes the scope MASSIVELY tall. would be interested in hearing more about the main...
I have talked to the guys at XLR and was very happy with how they answered questions and just seemed to have great customer service. Really I need to get behind both and see what fits me better. Off to find both locally......
I'm back to thinking about a chassis for my 20in AAC-SD 308 I guess this is kinda a chevy vs ford debate now, but what are the practical differences? The LSS seems to be slightly cheaper, but it is smaller too. I'm not going to war, just looking for a fun target rifle. No real need to...
Yeah to many guys run to the Internet to complain about gear. My 20 308 way out shoots me with bulk 147gr junk! The stock isn't even as bad as many say. Is the stock the weak link after the shooter is 100% sling their part? Sure. But is it so bad that you will never hit anything with it...
