Been a long journey to get every part from scratch. New action. 20" 300wsm and multiple 20" 6.5PRC bull barrels. Opening up bolt face. Vision Chassis and backend in AI DE. Fixed back end chassis to stock pieces and also a folding hinge. Rear action screws had to be sourced and machined to fit. Brass washers for action spacers. Mag catch and pins. Folding plunger, etc, etc. The effort into this has been large with support from many other folks. Grip for the aluminum skins are all that's left. Dominus K SR ready to go. Tangent Theta will top it off.

I just want to thank @MOUNTIC for donating me this setup. You're cooler than the other side of the pillow!

Just waiting for it in the mail.

Really, he’s an amazing person who will no doubt go straight to heaven when (and if) he so chooses. Rumor has it the Dali Lama looks up to him and attends his yearly retreats. Jesus phones him up for tips. Peace out.

Obligatory photo with the new CNVD-LR. The flip cover for the Impact 4000 is pretty slick from MK Machine.

18" 6.5CM Bartlein inside the ATX.

I'm pretty sure he's got a bit of stuff on his plate but I wonder if Chad @LRI would be a little tempted with some of these bolt jobs. He's turned out some impressive stuff, I'm sure a 1 or 2 piece AI bolt body would be like fixing breakfast for him.
I'm working on getting an AT-X bolt modeled right now. Will be at least another week or two before it is close to done. I don't want to take the bolt fully apart so I cant model the bolt head and body separately but It'll be as good of a model as you can get without doing that.

I don't have the ability to manufacture them but if someone has the capabilities I'd be willing to share the CAD file as long as something is done with it.

Until I die, this all cost $3,000… 🤣
"Listen, honey, I got a fantastic deal here. Its an investment, really. I only paid three grand but in reality it's worth a little more than that. If you and the kids decide to sell it after I'm gone, get it all appraised first. These are pretty rare and always going up in value."

My wife was with when I bought my AT. Told her I wouldn’t find a rifle like this for cheaper ever and should jump on it. Based on current prices it’s turned into a great investment

$3000

You can tell her it's worth over 5k now..... at least that is one delusional guy thinks his AT is worth on the FS section. lol

Haha I saw that

There’s is an ATX creeping to the low 3’s there now. Figure that won’t last much longer

Mines getting buried with me. So what it’s worth makes no difference to me. But AI prices certainly don’t seem to go down very often

Unless you have an ATX or pre 14 AX at the moment. The pre 14’s are almost given away now

Buddy I know has purchased a ton of firearms and his wife is none the wiser. He tells her he's going to the range which he leaves with a empty gun case, when he returns the gun case has a new firearm in it so the wife never sees him bringing in a new firearm.
Have a buddy who says as long as he buys basic black, the wife can't tell the difference.

If you have to lie about or twist how much you've spent on a legitimate interest or work equipment, that's shit... Might need a more cunning Skunkworks fund and cover story.

Fortunately, our business supports shooters and creates opportunities. If bills are being paid on time, the family is provided for, everyone is happy and there is growth... She doesn't ask & I don't tell.

Now, with SHOT looming... If only AI would finally release those filthy WSM & 223 bolt bodies for the AT!

You think you spend a lot of money on your hobbies. Women in general spend more money on stupid shit that will make our hobbies look like your weekly gas fill up.

And is there any confirmation on the 223 conversion or rifle from AI?

Yeah, AI said look for it Q5 of 2023, so I think any day now...

I want to know what women are buying things to the equivalent of a $20k AXSR setup or $15k AX ELR...

I know my wife is frugal compared to most, but I just don't see that happening all too often unless you're talking like a decade of shoes/purses/nails/massages etc
