I've been using Magpul 308 mags in my AR10. It runs flawlessly with the Magpul's. I bought a $90.00 LaRue 308 mag because you can seat the bullets to within .005" of the lands. That part is great. The problem is that I'll load 5 rounds and it will cycle the first three fine...but cycles over the 4th and won't strip it off. The BCG is cycling normally. Very frustrating considering the cost of the mag. I put three in the Larue and three in the Magpul. It "looks" like the Magpul is holding the rounds flatter in the mag. The Larue looks like there is a more upward slant to the cartridges. Why the first three function fine but it passes over the 4th is stupid.

Anyone else have any issues with the Larue mags??? Thanks. I have a $90.00 paper weight now.

My SP10's didn't like Larue Magazine either, Made the switch to Lancer L7AWM mags and they work perfectly in all my Large frame Gassers.

No Larue experience, but out of 4 large frame rifles, even after upgrading bolt catches, only P-mags lock my bolts back. I tried steel ASC & C products and Hexmags. All are Diamondback DB10s; 2 are factory built uppers, & 2 I built. So I've just stocked up on P-mags.
With the steel, couldn't you tune the feed lips?

It seems like you're looking for max COAL, so what COAL are you loading to? What projectiles are you using? What manufacturer is your lower and upper receivers?
Also, unless they have changed in the last few years, I thought that the Lancers had a max COAL of 2.830".
