Time for a LH custom build

I'm not a big gas gun guy, but decided to have a 6.5 Grendal built late summer. The qualifier is that it is a left hand model across the board. In today's climate:
* What should the expectation for build time to be?
* Is there any companies you would recommend to do the build?

I was told 3 months back when the order was placed and half of the cost was paid. An email was sent today asking for eta (hadn't heard anything since initial order), with a reply that he can't give me an eta due to bcg availability. For any of you building your own; is this true?

Compass Lake built my lefty SPRish for me. Wait time was just under 7 weeks. This was August of last year. I know a lot of parts are hard to come by recently so a hang up is pretty believable.
