DC Kneelers?

They start with "Wright said the new name should bring in more people to support the team and that the new name shouldn’t be offensive to anyone."

I'll finish with "Anything that has the name "Washington" in it that has nothing to do with George, is offensive".

I still like the name just change the mascot to a potato.

Or

Washington bagodicks has a nice ring to it

Only one possible option.....

They need to wear ghey-assed masks to every game, too.

Sirhr

Kneelers wouldn't work because it would immediately bring to mind the VP and I don't think that was the intent.

The Washington Dildos.

Might as well express what DC is dong to the people.

On a different note I did get to watch the Washington Senators play a home game against the NY Yankee's circa 1961. Mantle homered, the Senators lost.

what about the washington redskins
but named after the delicious potato and not indigenous peoples.
their logo could be a potato with steam coming off as it just came out of the oven hot and delicous. who could have a problem with that......except maybe the Irish...always the Irish fucking shit up.

heres a list of some of the best I could find. anyone would make a great name

Heard the Washington Wokesters tonight. Kinda liked that.

Washington Chokers

It will cover their behavior in games, and...

The logo will be an effeminate male clutching the pearls around his neck (a choker).

Should pick a name that reflects the local culture. Something like the Washington Sittin' Around All Day In The Hood Smokin' Weed But Gonna Break Into Yo Car When It Gets Dark Out, You Know What Time It Is (that last bit translates to "hand over your valuables, Sir or Ma'am," for the out-of-town folks).
