I was sick of all the “which sniper scope is best” threads

giphy.gif

Damn I was going to buy one of those but Im not a sniper.......

Still looking.

Dude I just took the exact same screen shot! You beat me to it.

I feel like there's a gap somewhere in this count down, Barska all the way up to the godly nsx!? Where are the ultra low end sniper scopes at? Maybe Buddly can help us out here, maybe just even let the author borrow your QF?

There was a Quigley-Ford booth at the NRA Convention with a sign that said something like “this scope is better than yours, we will tell you how”. I didn’t have time to lose brain cells entertaining those retards.

I wonder how many are desperately searching for that old discontinued Bushnell. Like, "what the fuck is all this XRS, LRTS, DMRII bull shit." "Where is the real Bushnell Sniper scope from the article." "Do you have to be military to get it."

I would have trolled them.

"Hello, my name is Buddly and I am your biggest fan."o_O "I love your scopes and I have been trying to sell them to everyone."

I promise they saw that thread.

It's a shitty Google search phrase for traffic hits I'm guessing. They could have actually done some research and then taken a few days to write the article. Instead of an hour of Amazon searching and copy pasta.

Someone should tell the boys at Crane that the screwed up selecting the MK 13 Mod7. Clearly a Savage in 22-250 is what real snipers use.

Norm knows as much about "sniper" scopes as the person that sent me a Howa Oryx in 6mm CM for review with a 4-12x scope featuring a 1" tube, the latest in covered finger click turrets, and a duplex reticle.

Those best this and that articles reminds me of this guy that tried to get me to write for him a year or so ago. I must've turned him down 5 times after telling him his articles and reviews were a joke. Now it appears he owns the snipercountry web addy, go figure.

Good read, very informative, learned alot. My decision is made, the technical MOA NXS 5.5x22(25) with the calculating turrets.

I still can’t get over the fact that the only con for the Redfield was no scope caps, the glass is blurry at best and the 1/4” clicks are merely a suggestion of the average click. It could do nothing or it could move and inch and a half who knows.

What is with Norman’s love of the Redfield? This list has much better options but he still has the Redfield on it.

Nope never mind he fucked up again, figured out the Redfield thing, he loves it because it is as consistent as his reviews.

and if you look at years past , they have used the same names for at least 20+ years it's a thing to look at for names of scopes to look up maybe not something to look at for an answer . I have always thought the word best is over used and miss used to sell things . some good things most unworthy of even mentioning as a products .

Guys I didn't want yall to overlook the technology and innovation built into the the Redfield Revolution 3-9x40 Accu-Range "Sniper Scope" so I highlighted what I thought were the key points of this scope.

This is a good choice of a sniper scope as it has been made out of great quality materials. Other than its quality construction, its matte finish gives it the great look and durability that hunters need. Its great quality also makes it great in its performance.

It features fully adjustable knobs, which makes operating it easy and quick. Its rear knurled section is able to rotate in order to finely adjust the eye relief. The scope also comes with a locking ring that holds it in place.

You will love its zoom; it is snug and smooth. It will allow you to see clearly even when your subjects are farther away. Its lenses are crisp clear as well, with no distortion. This is therefore the kind of scope you need to be able to jump from 50 to 100 or 150 yards without the need to adjust the elevation manually.

You will also get the approximate distance to your target by using the magnification ring. This helps you to bracket your target to the reticle lines, and then you can check the settings on the ring for your distance.

Seems like there's more and more of these websites out there on all sorts of topics. They pick a subject that's frequently researched, use a computer to generate automated text "review" with generic phrasing, pull products from amazon's popular purchase list, then rake in the ad revenue when people click through trying to find out "Which xxxx to buy?".

These websites are the bane of my existence. I have a ton of recommendations on my website, but everything I recommend I have tested and spent time with.

Whatever time I spend on testing stuff, these jackasses spend on search optimization, so they pop up in a Google search. People buy the crap they recommend and when it does not work ask people like me why it doesn't.

Most of the time, I have nothing to say other than "do your homework before you click the buy button".

It is posted above but this is hands down my favorite comment ever for someone reviewing a scope:

"This is a very delicate scope. After a series of shots, the crosshair may become crooked and hence unstable. This might make it hard to respond to the knobs and also to hold zero "

hahaha

Good Lord!
I made the mistake of reading further and clicked the first link in that article. This optic was mentioned along with and made the same list as the Razor GenII!

What's wrong with this picture...?
Vert der ferk?

LOVE the cons!

THEN WHY IS IT ON THE LIST?!?!!? ?

That's the new gansta mounting, haven't you seen it? It's all the rage these days. :ROFLMAO::LOL::ROFLMAO::LOL:

speaking of, did yall see the brownells instagram yesterday? picture of a dude who had his scope mounted on an Aero 308 in a cantilever mount on backwards and the scope was mounted sideways... (windage turret was on the top, elevation turret to the left side) hahaha

edit: it appears brownells has deleted that post, hopefully someone else saw it or got a screenshot.

Well according to the pictures in this thread I now know why I can’t hit shit at matches. I’ve been doing it all wrong. These mounting solutions is clearly the best way to see both your windage and elevation dials at the same time! Come on guys! Get with the times!
