folks better wake up

And I thought I was bad, getting up at 0730hrs. Shit, I thought I was sleeping in, since I used to get up at 0400hrs. during my working career. Mac

Throwing away food is retarded regardless of where it comes from. The Dust Bowl was only a few generations ago. The planet just got out of a mini ice age a couple hundred years ago. If processing plants can't take animals, give them away to people who will pick them up for free. We should store and preserve in times of abundance.

We're culling chickens and pigs now, but what's gonna happen to the meat supply next month? Six months from now? What will happen to the price of meat, now that our national debt has increased and hyperinflation is closer than ever?

I don't wanna go all Alex Jones here, but this is New World Order depopulation shit. Food shortages can destabilize entire regions. Maybe that's the plan, have a disproportionate response to a bullshit virus, shake up the world. The solution to the Great Famine of 2021? More central planning of our food supply.

I agree with you about them using food to control people.

But as far as what’s going on with throwing food away etc. you have no idea.

04:48 every morning. I have no idea why, and I don't set the alarm. It's kind of like Rain Man... 04:48, 04:48, it's 04:48 time to get up. There are a couple of the voices in my head that are just complete assholes.:p

I’m sure its probably illegal somehow to give it away. Probably health regulation against it to insure tax revenue.

I just bought a whole pig from a farmer for $100. A half last year cost me almost $300. This is before processing. This farmer sends 150 pigs per day to a giant corporate processor who is now shut down. The farmer is now going to kill them as he can't afford to feed and keep them.

Snipershide group buy on swine? That'd be a first I bet. But I'd be down.

Why would you kill your stock, dump your milk and plow in your crops ??? 350 million people still consume the same amount of food that we did pre covid , less the 60,000 dearly departed which you wouldn't notice in the food chain since we lose 2.8 million yearly. Did they instruct the car dealerships to scrap all the new cars. The democrats promote 650,000 abortions yearly , why in the fuck did you stay home and lose your job over 60,000 people who died.

We were instructed to stay home and do nothing, but were allowed to be next to each other at the supermarket and liquor store but not at work..........

It cost money to feed livestock. Milk cows have to be milked or they will dry up. It costs time and money to harvest and transport crops. If there is nowhere to go with the goods, It is cheaper to throw them away. Apparently some of the steps along the way are compromised.

Globalists are sick. Politicians are sick, Democrats are sick.

Thats where I get lost in the theory , did every American stop eating causing a glut in the market ? I know I usually buy alot of chicken to eat but due to covid there is very little to buy at the market. If people can't buy food because they lost their job due to the government then the government should had purchased all the food stock to give out to the people during the shut down.

Seems we need to start a thread about whether soft commodities can go negative like the one about crude oil. The answer is yes in order to to protect the breeding herd

Farmers in my area including myself are getting ready to plant and were not selling any livestock (cows) unless we have to because the price is way down. We’re planting crops because what is the alternative even though prices are really low. We’re hoping things change come harvest time.

something is going to happen but I don’t know what. Price at the store is high processors are restricted or shut down and commodities are dirt cheap. People are still eating. Nothing adds up to a clear direction.

i threw out all the toilet paper we had stockpiled and bought some freezers but now i don't have any money to buy meat.
where's my dang check?

actually i did buy a bunch of bacon and frozen panko breaded chicken tenderloins

We ordered a half hog from a local farmer and he has a waiting list into June. It's a crazy mixed up world.

Some of you gentlemen couldn't... with 2 hands and a flashlight ;)

When you send it out, include the sauce. He ain't lying. As long as it is processed here they can label it. WTO type bullshit. FYI - all of these bills died in committee last year.

Also - folks like Tyson (and likely the others behind the big packing houses) are all in on the existing Powers That Be, as you will recall - Ross Perot called Clinton "Chicken Man".

FYI in the news partselsewhereontheweb today - there's a bit of a run on freezers as of late.....

You guys know these plants kill 10-20,0000 plus cattle per day. Who is going to take them? They going to put them in their station wagon? Are 10,000 pickups and cattle trailers going to show up? Who is going to help load?

Lol the general public has ZERO idea about the scale of modern agriculture/food production.

Anybody have more information to back this up?

This isn't the kind of video you bet the farm on.

Is the problem not a choke point at the processing plants, where C-19 infected workers have triggered shutdowns?

Yes. The American public decided that it wanted the absolute lowest possible price on, well, everything. So we do dumbshit stuff like raise pigs 5 miles down the road, load 'em up on trucks and ship them halfway across the country for "processing", then ship them back to the local store that is less than 2 miles from the pig farm. This results in lunchmeat that is, oh, $0.25/lb cheaper (and it makes someone quite rich), but also means that a bunch of ill Somali immigrants at a plant in Iowa fucks with the ability to put food on the table.

Gonna get spicy, folks.

If you really want to secure your own meat go back to the old ways. Salt or smoke cure and dry cure your meat just like your great grandparents did.

Why we have generators.... at least some of us do.

Took one deep south ice storm and 21 days without power to convince me I needed two generators.... just sayin.
.

Just picked up one this weekend. a champion dual fuel, runs on gasoline or LP. Enough to run the fridge, freezer, gas stove pilots, a few lights, internet etc.I like the dual fuel option. I can hook it up to my 220 gallons of lp and be good for weeks and the feed the wall heater as well. Started on the third pull.

It's the only kind of video we can get out to the public because MSM is not covering this to any degree.

Would be fear mongering.

And Tyson Chicken, Smithfield Meats, milk being dumped, vegetables not picked, and .gov recommending selling dairy cows to the meat market has been covered in the two huge covid posts on here, several times.

Not too hard to find in any search engine if you look.

To back up what? Culling pigs and cattle and chickens? Plowing under vegetables?
That’s what’s going to happen when there’s no processing capacity.

Hogs will eat each other if you stop feeding them. Chickens legs will break from weight if you keep feeding them past a certain point.
Vegetables go bad if they aren’t picked when ripe.

Dairy cows have to be milked or it mess up the cow. No home for the milk equals it goes in the manure pit.

Public Education, Mainstream Media, and "if it's not in your face, or not your interests" have dumbed the public to American farming to the point a lot of people dont understand what DeerSniper just said.

And damn few people understand how the USA buys Namibian beef (or Chinese tilapia) to stabilize the world markets so we can have a "global community".... "Global Economy "...
Just like so much went "offshore" and NAFTA and and and and.....

It's just more big business interests....

I'm not disputing what he's saying. Just saying it takes more than a random cowboy making an internet video. I don't know him.

Show videos of the waste, pictures, copies of these "orders" to destroy.

the timing of this has a lot to do with why this isnt worse right now. if all this were happening in September/ October/November, it would be 100s of times worse. Right now, most cattle farmers can hold out pasturing the cattle and calves through the summer season. but if its a cold winter combined with a dry summer in parts of the country, hay and feed costs are going to skyrocket and some of us arent going to be able to maintain a herd through the winter because we cant feed them.

local sale barn the prices for cattle pairs were high, being bought by people trying to build a herd for the summer and fatten calves. but the feedlots are max capacity and are saying they cant take anymore since the slaughter houses are not killing at numbers like they should be. we got a glimpse of this last august when one of the tyson processing plants burned. i lost 30% on my calves at auction.

If the food supply is truly being used to control a population, the population must band together and go full Viking on the king's men (and women) themselves, including their media and "elected officials", take their food supply and employ overwhelming, merciless, and highly inventive forms of violence upon them...

This is why revolts need leaders. Otherwise, angry and hungry rebels with spears would be fucking raiding each other instead of a common hated target.

To the skeptics - when Tyson fuckin' takes out full-page ads in major newspapers to warn of upcoming disruptions of supply, we've moved well past the "Internet conspiracy theory" realm and are well into the "holy shit this is really happening" stage.

The Venn diagram of people who are currently in the denial stage and who previously ridiculed preppers basically looks like two concentric circles at this point.
