    Gentlemen:

    The Good Guy's WIth Guns (GGWG) group is looking to support a fine young man up in Canada this time. @Sean the Nailer is in contact with a family whose Son had a BMX Bike of some sorts stolen recently. Yep, even up in Canada. The young man has impressed our friend Sean to the point he/we would like to show him and his family some support from our side of the Border.

    The young man, to replace his Bike, came up with a plan to clear snow and mow yards, so he got his Father to back him on a piece of equipment the Son is paying the Father back in installments. All this to replace his Bike. Well, we'd like to help him with his business by taking a dent outta his machine costs as well as just buy him a new Bike.

    If you'd like to join us in this endeavor for a good cause, we'd love to have you participate. We'll run this for a few days, then Sean once all the funds arrive will be making a trip to their Home to spread some joy!

    If you're willing to send funds via PayPal, I know alread!, here's the account we're using. [email protected]

    If you'd like to send via Snail Mail, as I am tomorrow, please reach out to @Sean the Nailer or myself for the name/address info.

    Thanks ahead of time guys. We'll knock this out and put a HUGE smile on that family's face and brighten up the young mans world!

    Paypal sent. Is Sean going to give us all asylum when the Bidenistas come for us? :ROFLMAO:
    Send that young man down here, we need more like him.

    Another BIG thank you for jumping in Brother! We appreciate the heck out of it ALWAYS!

    Gentlemen, and Ladies too,

    I gotta say that we here are so very impressed by a number of things going on here. Its taken me a bit to figure some of this out, but I think we're getting a handle on the depth of this.

    Just to clarify a few minor points (and with HUGE thanks to our Ringleader, Larry) this young man's name is Wyatt. Now, Wyatt had approached his father this past Spring about starting a business and working through the summer cutting lawns, to make money, so that he could buy himself a bike. His father told him that there is a lot to running a business, and that there are numerous responsibilities and 'extra work' involved, as well as being 'regular' for the customers. He'd told Wyatt that you need to have a "plan" and be able to accomplish all these tasks.

    The next day, Wyatt showed his dad the big poster that he'd made, describing the job he'd do and more of his "plan". (His father was impressed with the effort that his son put in, in the past 24 hours.) So then the next day, his father approached the (small town) store and asked if he could put one of these posters in the window. The owner said 'yes' as well as told him that the retirement home across the street was looking for somebody to maintain their lawns.

    He immediately called Wyatt, and asked him to meet him at the store. Together, they went and spoke to the manager of the retirement home, and Wyatt was hired 'right then and there'. But his father was noticing that the large facility was considerably more work than just the regular 'home-owners walk-behind' type mower. Wyatt really was serious about this, so they went to the dealer and dad financed a 'Zero-turn' mower to allow the jobs to get done, and Wyatt paid the monthly bill through his labours.

    It was a good summer, Wyatt got a good number of customers, and was a reliable worker. Finally, 2 weeks ago, Wyatt was able to buy the bike he was wanting. With his own money. Now that he is back in school, the season is over and the arrangement that was made is 'dad' will pay the monthly payments, but next summer $5.00 from each yard is going to go to 'dad' to help pay-back the payments through the winter. Wyatt thought this was a good arrangement. (Dad was proud of the fact that his son is able to do all this, as well as put "money" to "work" therefore creating "value" and "cost".) Wyatt then came to his dad and asked if there was a way to use the zero-turn mower for clearing snow, so that way dad wouldn't have to pay Wyatt's bill, and next summer he'd make 'more money'. (Remember, now Wyatt's days are not the 'free' summer months, but now he's got school during the day, plus homework, extra-curricular activities, and 2 younger brothers. Plus mom and dad)

    Just a few days ago, his bike was stolen. This is part of what brought me to bringing this up to Larry's attention. The other thing, of equal and just as impressive value, is the fact that Wyatt is 12 years old.

    We can't help but want to help this young man. He's aspiring to greatness, he's inspirational, and he's on the right path. His parents have done such a fantastic job raising Wyatt AND his two brothers. I just wanted to "help out a bit".

    Then there's the help that ya'll have kicked in, and that was/is something in itself. Now Wyatt doesn't know anything about any of this yet, and neither do his parents. As some of ya'll know, I only fired-up the PayPal a few days ago (for this) so it took a bit go confirm and whatnot.

    In due time, when everything is all lined-up, I'll be asking his parents for permission to film the presentation, so that YOU ALL can see the effect of HOW GREAT YA'LL ARE.... and how (I'm beginning to get it now).... just how DAMNED GREAT ya'll are. This thing is kicking off bigger than either I or My Lady ever imagined. Boys, this whole "Good Guys With Guns" is a bigger thing than can be described.

    I get more now, when Larry says "You've warmed my heart..." and believe me when I say, it really DOES have that effect. No matter how cold-hearted or icy you think a person can be... no wonder there's a Global Warming issue.

    Bless ya'll. All ya'll.

    This is still in the works, still growing, and the group here of GOOD GUYS is so much bigger than I'd previously imagined. And GOODER, too.

    And I too thank EVERYONE, and at the same time I (personally) have been hesitant to name anyone specific simply because I don't want to seem to come across as calling anyone out by omission. (Here's where I have a problem with the 'wording' because I'm not even sure THAT came across right)

    Help me out here guys, there's gotta be a "protocol" or something.

    I've got it in the back of my mind, that GGWG needs to be a sponsorship sticker. It really does. For both the 'givers' as well as the recipients. An example would be this zero-turn mower of Wyatt's,,,, and his bike (when he buys one), they should each have a "GGWG" sticker on them, to which that will make others ask questions.

    To help get the word out, that there really ARE :

    GOOD GUYS WITH GUNS

    GGWG

    thoughts? I'd put that on our truck, in a milisecond. (just the GGWG) that way, I can formulate an answer, depending on who's asking.

    This is cool cool stuff.

    This crew has done a lot of projects. Some to help someone in a tough spot, some to give someone a boost and let em know that we got your back, and a few just to be nice to their brothers here on the Hide!

    I will tag in a few guys I know who might like to toss a few bucks in to help a hard working kid. Remember guys, just $5 by a lot of guys goes a long ways towards building this up!

    @JMGlasgow
    @Lawless
    @Jscb1b
    @Foul Mike

    And most of the others I chat with regularly have already donated. 😁

    I was thinking more something less obtrusive, like this:

    THIS is along the lines of what I was referring to. I truly believe that THIS is the answer, and the way to go forth.

    Just my humble opinion. :D

    Now the colors can be discussed, and personally, I was thinking of a 'clear' background. So it is only the color of the letters that show,whether it is put on a window, a tinted window, or the frame of a zero-turn mower.

    It'd make people ask questions.... (which is a good thing) and it won't bring negative attention to your vehicle whilst it's parked in a lot.

    I was JUST thinking about with all the bad shit going on how it'd be nice to do something with GGWG to balance out the karma some...

    So of course I'm down. I'm always down for a brother on the 'Hide.

    And with the exchange rate $20 becomes $25 so I'm sure that helps!

    I think it'd be cool to do another thing this holiday for a member too. Donate parts or money to someone that deserves it, someone on hard times, both, whatever. It'd just feel right I think.

    Glad I didn't miss out on this one. Hope it all works out for the kid.

    Had a buddy that fought a raw blood disease for far longer than he was supposed to live. He passed away last month. Guy was a real hell raiser and funny as shit! We had some good times in the day! Hospice was called in his last week and the director asked him was there anything special he would like to have. His answer...........A bigger pecker!!
    Thought we could all use a laugh. He was a tough fucker!

    Lash, I like what you're doing/where you're going with this, but in my opinion it don't even need the circles around.... just a clear base (to be stuck anywhere unobtrusively) with the letters being a single color. (or colour, if you're a Canuckistanian)

    Sorta like, anyone who DOES know, already gets it. Anyone who doesn't know, can't/won't have a clue without asking....

    I will also add/state "For The Record" that any and all funds being donated to this young man, I'm passing along without skimming, charging any B.S. processing fee, or anything else like that. I've noticed that PayPal has charged a few different donators (donors?) a 'fee' and whatnot. That's why I'm bringing this up here, just to tell ya'll straight-forward that it ain't me doing that.

    I can't say anything as to the 'exchange rate of the day' be-it your end or PayPal's end or my banks end on the day that things are removed. But I'm completely confident that all the members here grasp that and are comfortable.

    I state all this, just because I'm kinda new at this process, and I also know that there's a bit of a history with other past members of "this industry" who've gone off the deep-end and left people hanging. Hence why I stated up front that I intend on video-taping the presentation, (with the parents permission of course) because there's already enough fuckery (that's a technical term) in the politics/media lately.

    Just throwing it out there, but if the letters were colored:

    Red White Blue Black

    Red-White-and-Blue for obvious reasons, and then the black G,,, just to add a 'double entendre' or whatever the fanciful term is used colloquially.
    (see what I did there?)

    This is a good addition to the concept.

    Here's another tangent that ya'll may like/appreciate. The "blue line" and/or the "thin blue line" is somewhat ubiquitous for "support of Law Enforcement Officers", and I respect that.

    Is there, or has anyone done anything with regards to a "green line" (and/or a "strong green line") for symbolizing/supporting our SOLDIERS as well? How about both? My point being, those who're standing up to defend our Country (yours AND/OR mine) should be acknowledged, too.

    Just a thought. What says you?
