I agree wholeheartedly. But many people choose to adopt foreign children because the US adoption system has been completely ruined by the legal system. US mother's who give their children up for adoption can come back YEARS!! later and say they've changed their mind and want their child back. Who wants to accept a child into their home, raise it like family then be forced to relinquish it when the crackhead mother needs another welfare child credit??? My old boss adopted a Russian orphan to avoid this potential life crushing possibility. The US courts are anything but Fair or Just!

You don't know what the fuck you're talking about. We briefly considered adoption and after I researched the issue I told the wife that if we did it under NO circumstances we would consider adopting an American child.

The fact that the bitch who pushed it out of her crack could come later at her pleasure and inject herself into our lives and even lay claim to my child is something that would drive me to murder.

This is bullshit, and I know you're just overreacting, but you really need to sit down and rethink. Plenty of good people of every shade, background and religion in this country. We don't need to be diving ANYONE based on color.

Yeah, people with this attitude are vile.... Our 3 kids are adopted from foster care and are a different skin color than my wife and I. They're still my kids.....

The red tape that perspective parents have to go through is unbelievable.

My son and his wife wanted to adopt. Waited years.
Also she had a skin cancer and was unable to adopt a child in the US!
So they searched foreign countries.

Ended up costing 50 grand ! With a 50/50 chance of survival.
It was a little girl almost 3 years old and she had leukemia!
I was so pissed!
Anyway they brought her back to the US and was admitted to children's hospital.

I helped out because a member of the family or close friend had to be there 24/7.

In three months that I new her I grew to love her like a grandfather and she was precious.
I cried like a baby when she passed just before her 3rd birthday .
It's really hard to adopt

Knowing what I know now about it I've changed my original opinion, but not by much. I still think I would adopt American but I ain't gonna tell folks how to run their household and understand the hurdles and pitfalls a bit better now. That is absolutely true. Look at any country run by blacks - a disaster. Then look at a group of wealthy blacks - like the NBA or NFL. They have a shockingly high violent crime rate, just a little lower than the rest of black society (they can afford better lawyers...).

I'm reading your original post I was thinking basically the same thing... but with everybody that has hyphenated American identity. I figure we only have room for Americans in this country. Anything else are simply visitors. They can stay here for about 6 weeks and then go home and fix the problems in there country of Allegiance.

My thought is to have a National Registry. People can log in and identify themselves as American, pick your country of choice - American. They are then sent vouchers for vacation. Send them to their country of choice, put them on the no-fly list after takeoff, put them on the illegal to enter this country list.

IQ is only one way to measure intelligence or success in the world.

I test pretty high, generally 140 or a bit above, but I know many people who functionally are far less 'intelligent' but are far more successful in the business world. It drives me crazy but it is what it is.
