Saw the official announcement for this posted on Facebook yesterday and wanted to get your thoughts on it.

It's a replacement fill that you can swap out the standard "heavy fill" from your Gamechanger/Saracen or other shooting bag and significantly lighten the weight, but without sacrificing the performance and stability.

I had a chance to briefly test out a bag from one of the shooters that was beta-testing the product and it was really compelling. I used a waxed canvas gamechanger with the Git-Lite fill in it and the difference in weight was shocking. When you reach for a game changer you just expect it to be heavy but this felt light as a feather. I shot a bit off a barricade with it and the stability was excellent. The fill flows and settles into place just like the regular GC. It's very different than the ultralight styrofoam fill you see in things like a pump pillow, those don't have stability at all.

Anyhow, was curious what the reaction on this kind of product was. No affiliation with the company, other than that I know Chris from matches and he's a good dude. Same guy involved with the creation of the "Gittings Pad" that you see everywhere now. Personally I think he's got another winner on his hand with this one.

I've had some for a while Sheldon. I'd been trying to reduce the total weight I carry at matches, especially since we have some around here that involve their share of toting your gear around. When I heard what Chris was working on, I was excited to try it out.

I really like it, and can shoot off of it "one bag style" the same as with the original fill. It's also nicer having less weight in it to manage on the clock if you've got a rifle, a bag, and a tripod to all juggle.

I'm extremely eager to try a Warhorse Development Comanche bag with the Git Lite fill. I got to handle a prototype with it and the weight savings is substantial! I'll definitely have one in the near future.

Gonna try it in a full size Saracen, didn't like the tradeoff with stability when I tried my Comanche ?
 
Got mine today. I ordered the large size, which was plenty to fill a Comanche, and a Taffy with a full quart ziplock left over.
It is as advertised, tiny little black 1-2mm beads that seem like they should weigh a lot more than they do.
The bags feel good, and are really light (sorry no good scale to weigh them).
 
Got mine today as well, filled up a big game-changer with a good bit left over (large) I shot 30 rds of .22 over it and I can’t tell a difference in stability from the original fill.. I’m digging it!! I don’t have a decent scales either, but I would say my GC is slightly lighter than my Tab str8-laced now.. My match load-out just got 5lbs lighter.. This fill is trippy

I'm going to order the 3-5mm fill and try it first. I would think 4 liters would do the trick on it, for $25 dollars or $60 ill try the cheaper one.

Look for something like eva foam granulates for injection molding they are about 2$/kg

They appear to be different weights/densities. The B2B precision is the ultra light. I believe the Git-Lite is MUCH heavier and more rigid/conforming (although still lighter than "standard" fill). Looks like the ultralight is 1 pound per cubic foot while the Git-Lite is either the 6 or 10 pounds per cubic foot. Guessing it is the 10 pcf

Mine was supposed to deliver last Saturday. I put my rental house address on accident. so it got forwarded to my new address and it's taking forever!

I was hoping to have it before my match this weekend but it's not looking good.

a buddy of mine got his though so at least i'll be able to mess with it at the match

Haven't had a chance to get to the range yet but with dryfire immediately before and after changing the fill using the same target approximately MOA size at 500yds I can't see a difference in stability.

Weight is another story, my Saracen went from 6.5lbs to 2.5lbs ?

Filled the sticky game changer tonight. Initial impression is slightly less stable but much more manageable.

Keep in mine I prefer lighter weight bags. I tried to use the extra fill for a mini GC so I could review both but was short on fill.

Planning on rocking the sticky with the new fill for Lone Survivor PRS and will keep the str8 laced as the rear bag.

Filled my mini fortune cookie with most of a small size bag. With the RRS clamp on, weighted in at 3 lb 5 oz. Used a stitch ripper to open a hole big enough to put a funnel in. I haven't been to the range yet, but the structure feels very similar. Weight went down to 23.5 oz. So far so good. I think the maneuver ability will be much better.

I was thinking the same was going to happen with the original GC also. Using it on the skills barricade, fences, the stages where your shooting and moving I figured the weight reduction would be real nice
 
So I got the Box to Bench ultralight fill in today and dumped out my waxed Game Changer. The stuff from Box to Bench has some squish to it so I'm willing to bet eventually it'll break down and get smaller.
The plus side is that the entire GC is now 7.7 oz according to my scale which is retarded light. I need to slap it on some railings/barricades soon to see how I like the stability.
The 8 liter quantity I ordered was plenty to fill the GC with a lot left over to top off the bag in the event it does break down. I will update..

Found my order waiting for me when i returned from the Q-Creek ELR. This is a gamechanger for the gamechanger. The stability of the Git-lite is awesome and I had no problems getting stable during dry fire practice. I will have to get used to the weight while moving it on barricades though. I feel like the Hulk when i pick it up because it's so lightweight. Good work Chris, Ill be getting more to fill my other bags soon.

I received some of the Ultralite fill as well as the GitLite. While the Ultralite from Box to Bench is lighter, it is not nearly as stable for a game changer type bag in my opinion. It might be good for some of the big positional bags but less than ideal for the game changers/fortune cookie/tactical udders. Also looking at price to volume there was not much price difference in the end.

Ah that is good to know.

Also heard that Armageddon Gear will be offering the gamchanger with git-lite from the factory! Great for those who like the pint size as it doesn’t have a zipper.

I received my Git-lite fill about 2 weeks ago. I filled a Black Branch Gecko 2 with it to the same feel as the “elite” fill I had in previously. Obviously first impression is the weight- 6.4# before, 2.6# after. After using it for dry practice, and 3 range sessions, I’m sold. I feel like my bag is just as stable on barricades as it was before- but much lighter and easier to maneuver. I also use it as a rear bag and once again don’t notice any loss of stability. My Gecko 2 is now light enough that I’m willing to take it elk hunting. I would never carry a 6+ pound bag, but 2.6? I think it’s worth it. I’ve got some matches coming up and will report back after some use on the clock.

I have been using the stuff for the past 2 months. My OG GC weighed 6 lbs and dropped down to 2.5 lbs. I initially thought I was giving up .1 mil extreme spread on stability. Recently went out to practice to do a side by side on positional shooting on barricades and props and was able to still hold on sub-moa targets during practice. If you are shooting at targets that are 2 MOA positionally you will not give anything up in terms of stability. I can maintain stability on smaller targets, any misses are generally lost in the noise of wind and breaking a bad shot. If anyone is attending the Snipers Hide Cup this weekend, I will have my Git Lite bags for those interested in checking out the stuff.

I purchased the B2B Precision fill, mainly because of the lower upfront cost, to try. The pellets are foam and compress. They feel similar to styrofoam pellets but spring back better. Below is a photo of the pellets.

I'm not going to say this is the better of the two options. I haven't tried the Git-Lite yet. This is just to add additional info into the discussion.

Yep and that probably explains some of the description of Git-lite being steadier. It's smaller pellets which don't compress, only flow.

Now I'm wondering what a mix of the two might be like.
