I know nobody gives a shit, but it personally pains me to see what would be a nice photograph of a harvested animal ruined by some nut who has to sit five feet behind it in order to make it look bigger. Either that or you are so tiny that you make candy for Oompa Loompas because your SBR in the photo looks like a friggin M107 compared to you.

Your photo becomes the equivalent of a hunting story told by a Dick's gun counter employee...and everyone who has ever harvested game can see it.

Congratulations on your 500lb whitetail, or 1,000lb hog. Your hunting credibility is on par with Hillary Clinton's patriotism.

I'll shut up now. Rant over, flame on.

They had me do that on an oryx in Namibia. One of the only photos from that safari, I didn't really care for. Makes them look 1850 pounds instead of 400.

You see it, but I think it is more of a fishing thing.

I don't spend much time on Instagram. I only have like 40 friends on Facebook, and I probably only follow about 20 organizations. Just don't care. It is easier not to care, than get caught up in it.

I have to agree. This is getting out of hand.

I prefer the old school approach and like a nice rancher pose. Zero regard given to how far away I am, or getting the critter in some type of position to enhance it's horns or size. I actually appreciate it when someone tells me how shitty the picture I took was and that the critter is a lot bigger in person. I am becoming a throwback in my old age. I can't stand all these Facebook Flat Bill Fucktards that literally shout out to the world every single piece of equipment they use, along with their stupid hashbrowns or tags or whatever the fuck they are. Sorry, my rant is over now too. Nice squirrels.

The feral hog photos are pretty stupid. What is the worst is that they had a child set up that way with a big Smith and Wesson Performance Center M629 or X-Frame.

So they are starting this kid out in stupid land.

Oh yeah, the old 'hold the fish out at the camera' ploy. Makes for some great 12lb bluegill photos.

Agreed 1000%. It's the uncool push-up bra of animal Instagram..

I was always far less concerned about where the boobs went than I was where the roll came from....

to be fair, that was a giant hog regardless of photo positioning

yeah....the backstory on that hog.....just in case some of you havent heard it.

the “guide” bought the hog from a hobby farmer. that hog was as tame as a puppy dog.....albeit much larger. the big, bad hunters shot the piss out of that poor animal.....mulitiple times and did NOT put it down quickly or ethically. it makes me want to fucking puke. people can be pretty fucking ugly.

Sometimes the animals are just big. This one weighed 640# on a certified scale. I’m right up against it. I have no idea where it came from. Just showed up on my farm. Killed with two shots from .45 ACP. 230 grain Hydra Shok think one would have done it but did not wait to find out.

That pig is tiny, just look at the tennis balls in the foreground. ?

kidding, that is a monster. Do you think it started as an escaped domestic hog?
