I've been asked for this combo lot. Our 338 Ultra with Hornady 108 ELDs

Shots go

SE 124.1 , 125.1 , 123.4 , 124.4 , 122.3 Avg 123.9

ML 133.3, 133.1, 133.2, 132.4 , 132.8. Avg 132.9

MR 130.8 , 130.3 , 130.2 , 131.2 , 131 Avg 130.7

Awesome Ray, thank you for doing that (I have been wondering the same myself...). Would you think there would be any apparent accuracy loss going from a dedicated 6.5 can to using the 338 can on a 6.5 or 6 mm? I don't see why there would be but your the expert.

I ran a 338 and a 6.5 Ultra 7 for a while on my 6 CM this summer. Accuracy was the same with both cans.

No accuracy loss to worry about. Lots of people out there running the 338 Ultra on sub calibers at matches.

Hi Ray - I have an AXMC with 6 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC and also 300NM barrels. I live in Denver, and have shot at Otto range before. All barrels threaded 5/8x24. Let me know if you want to pursue testing

20" 308 with subs Ultra 9 is better I think. I'll try to post video of it tomorrow.

I shot a match a few months ago with a guy running that can on his BRA and it was impressively quiet. Definitely on my list of wants now!

myself and a couple of our team shooters run 338 ultra on 6x47 and dasher. by far an wide the most common question after a stage is..."what can is that? its insane quiet".....
