This is going to be a good time
Agreed! We have $1500+ of equipment, discounts and prizes to give away on prize table, including cash. Going to be a hell of a shoot and super fun for anyone in the Michigan area or further: we have a couple guys coming up from Ohio to shoot it also!

Send me a PM if interested in attending.

Is this a recurring match? I may be moving up that direction later this year.

I will likely become a recurring match if we have good feedback. But I'll likely only want to put together a big one 2 times a year or so. We may start doing smaller monthly matches but just getting the word out right now and seeing how many guys we can get interested.

Please post when you are having your next one. I have an egg shoot in Staton this Sunday but, might stop in and spectate on my way up. I've been waiting for this type of match to come to West Michigan.

I know "egg"xactly which match you are going to! Lol I've shot it there a few times. I'd wholeheartedly tell you to skip that match to shoot this one if only for the format and prizes. This may be the only one we can squeeze in this season (I have a super busy centerfire match schedule) so this was the only time between now and the PRS finale that we could squeeze it in. But if you can't shoot it, please feel free to swing over and spectate and say hello!

Shoot me a PM and I can send you my contact details.

I think I will stop by, I've never been to one and it'll give me a chance to see how it all works. I'd consider competing but, I need to buy a different scope. I'm currently running a 45x45 with a dot reticle, I don't think that would work so well especially on the offhand stage. I'll introduce myself when I stop by.

Lol. 45x may be a *bit* too much for this. Would probably do better with a 4-16 or 5-25. Most of shooting will be done at 10-12x simply to aquire targets faster. Looking forward to meeting you Sunday!

When you get to the club, ask around for Francis and I'm sure they will point you my direction. Good luck at the egg shoot! And hopefully you don't have to go into the jawbreaker tie break stage and just win it outright!

@Subwrx300, any update on the schedule?

Currently working with these dates. They are approved and in schedule with exception of the March 14th date which we are working on possible conflict. Might move to Sunday 15th.

Matches will be 10 stages, $30 entry and have trophies to 1st through 3rd. Finale will include lunch with prize table and awards as well! Points and finale placement/prize table will be determined by the top 3 scores of the season (2 regular plus finale).

Mar. 14 - Sat (tentative and may be a simple open practice AM match).
May 16 - Sat 8AM
July 26 - Sunday 9AM
Aug 29 - Saturday 8AM
Finale - September 26 - Saturday 8AM

Will post officially later this week after back from travel. Need to check on the Match 14 date.

Is there somewhere I could find the rules and description for these events? I've never done anything like this, and would like to know what I may be getting myself into. ?
