So, joe‘s minions, are doing a great job shutting me off from my favorite shooting ranges. 4+ dollar a gallon for fuel means a trip to Prince Memorial is a minimum $45.00 trip. Brenda is definitely not happy about us heading off to Florida to visit our son, pickup AnnaEleise‘ new mast and of course, enjoying many long hours at Altus.

But my personal issues aside, it seems to me that the unstated goal of this administration is to move people into the cities where they can be easily controlled, beaten down, and have every real vestige of personal freedom taken away. (Excepting enjoying listening to long speeches by nancy pelosi about how lucky we are to have joe biden as “our” president. )

What joe don’t know … is that country people like gas but they can survive without his gas. It won’t be as nice, but the woods and streams and lakes contain plenty of food and in the end, We will make it. Our little community is already reviewing the alternatives.

if everyone drives an EV, all it takes is a flip of a few switches to bring that area to a halt. control movement of the people, control the people.

Whats even scarier thats been glossed over with UKR-Russia is that "people" are trying to get Elon Musk to shutdown all Teslas in Russia. That means he has some means to just turn the cars off.

im pretty sure they can also do that with the ONstar bullshit everyone was force fed through Government Motors. More control of the little people

ALL new cars can be remotely shut down (cops lobbied for this).
ALL new cars have *flight recorders* that lock in data when an accident happens (insurance lobbied for this).
I dare you to find a real mechanic driving anything newer than about 2000.
If they are driving something newer they don't know shit about cars and should not be a mechanic you use for car repairs.

Some of them know how to use computers.

Democrats and their supporters what people available when they fire up the crematoriums and get back to Granddad's plan of world domination and the end of Hews and Christians. Locking down all cars, restricting public transportation to only those chosen few and stacking people in apartments that resemble chicken coops is a great plan for them.

Best of all 25% of the people here will vote for it, just like they voted for Biden. The left will celebrate because they will confiscate the wealth and property of the murdered and "re-distribute the wealth" to themselves with 5% of less doing any public good. The influx of wealth from the victims of Democrats will float their shit economic plans for a few short years and then their shitty society will begin to crumble and stumble along just like it did in the USSR.

If you had told ever Jew in Germany that climbing in a rail car would lead to their death, 99% of them would have climbed in anyway. When you try and tell an American idiot what will happen, the lure of free shit will overcome their fears and they will climb in with those Jews.

Today's hoax news from the Ukraine is about the Russians blowing up a "Children's Hospital". The place has no beds, medical equipment or supplies of any type in the video, nothing to indicate it is anything but an evacuated or abandoned building. It is playing in the hourly loop. People who believe the media will be the first ones rounded up.

Yup, any Chevy newer than '06 ain't worth a damn. 99-06 is really the sweet spot. Still has some computers and electronics, but nothing like the 07 and newer. Super easy to repair as well for most things.

My brother still works in IT, someone asked him how much smart stuff he has, door bell thermostat, TV so on. He reply is always, "I work in IT so push a button on my thermostat to change it, the TV is not as smart as my German Sheppard that's the door bell and security alarm, and my truck is a 94."

I use to work IT, I also refuse anything smart. I'm to the point of this God damn phone can sit on the front porch instead of in the house.

My town, suburb of Boston, had a town meeting the other night were they discussed getting rid of all zoning laws.

Currently zoning laws support single family dwellings and open space.....what used to be the American dream.

Now they want to get rid of the zoning laws so that the nice corner laot up the street owned by the woman in her late 90s can be sold and become a ten story tower with set asides for "affordable housing".

Behind my property is a 14 acre lot of "conservation land". Its presence more than anything else make my 9000 sf lot worth very much. My parents bought well in 1974.

There is one old house in the center of this conservation lot. Neat house probably built in the 1910s/20's. Likely the original owner was the one that donated the land to the town. When I was a kid there was a family living there but at some point the town took the house and since they have allowed Katrina people to stay there and last I heard some town worker has a sweet deal to live there.

They want to rezone the conservation land in order to classify the house as "low income housing".

They promise taking the biggest piece of undeveloped buildable land out of conservation wont be taken advantage of and they wont build houses in there.......yeah right.

Thing is about all this dezoning........so when they decide to build the ten story building in the midst of a neighborhood of single family homes, has anyone done the calcs on how much shit the sewer system will carry?

I doubt it. Wypipo problems.

Have I mentioned lately, FJB and his admin.. The "plan" is failing, and he and crew will be a non-issue in the very near future. There is enough push-back that's coming their way come November 8th., and hopefully, in 2024. It's just surviving until then, that's going to be the difficult part.
I just hope, people do NOT forget the pain that they/we have suffered these last 2+ years. I do have my hopes. Those of us that still vote "R", will need to hold them to account, and paying attention to the possible back-door corruption possibilities that seem to come with the their job. It's going to happen, but, it needs to be on a much, much, lessor scale. We have been educated, and there's no excuse now. Mac

Thats cute you still believe in voting.......

When you ran downstairs in slipper jammies the morning after the 2020 election were you surprised to see a potato under the tree and a crack pipe left on the plate where you had left cookies?

My 99 was the biggest POS I ever owned. However, single cab SWB so I wish I still had it so I could turbo it and really break shit.

I'm probably grabbing at straws, but, if we don't vote our way out of this....well, there's only going to be one other way. By the way, the day of the election, I went out in my backyard and turned my flag upside down. Flew it that way until the day poopy-pants raised his right hand, then went back out and took it down, properly folded it, placed it in my shop, and it still resides there to this day. Mac

I gave a similar response to a post about politicians. Was called a liberal.

I pray your optimism is proven true because the alternative is going to be too much for me to take.

Everyone talks tough.....until its time to be tough.

If the shoe fits..........

Allow me to expound. He was touting the virtues of a NY congress person (career rino). I mentioned it was cute he thought political parties had different agenda.

I think all career politicians suck pond scum. Guess I'm in a very small majority. Maybe I am a liberal.

What did y’all do the last time gas was high?

My wife had a 5 mile commute and I was driving a "company car" with a gas card.

Now I am commuting 75 miles a day in a Honda Pilot.

For shits and giggles I switch the on board screen to the trip data information.

Had the Honda serviced two weeks ago.

Prior to service I was getting a steady 27 miles per gallon with cruise control set at 60.

Now same speed inputs after service im getting 23-24 MPG.

Still not bad for a vehicle that size but what the fuck thick fresh oil....give me back my MPG.

Might have to also do with me switching to what is regularly the cheapest gas station in the area. Guessing their shit is cheap because some part of it is "non-gas".

I was just kidding you.....I know who you are and are not.

Well as much as one can in the fantasy world of the internet......for all I know you are a tranny sucking cock in between postings that seem rational.

It's with great optimism, that I hope it can be handled in the right/democratic way, because, the other way is just going to plain suck. I guess, as the song goes...but, I'm as good once, as I ever was.. Mac(y)

But it's "cheaper."

The cheapest is seldom the least expensive.

Sounds like you'll be able to build a shooting range in the city limits.
Just make sure to pick the longest street...

That's why those are the only chevy trucks I drive. 😉

This has been a goal of the far left and the eco movement for decades. Move everyone into a hive environment. With the Idea that the planet will somehow heal itself because we humans will merely be consuming what comes from cities. Not gobbling up precious Gaia with personal space or homes away from city scum. The countryside won’t be covered in horrible sprawl. Merely with slave farmers producing for the cities.

These utopian social engineers are delusional and dangerous .

Everything built in the city now is built to this spec.

Tower enclaves.

You live above the first two level.

First two levels are all your commercial services.

Almost like the intent is you live and work with the stairs as your commute.

For some it has its attraction but it should be a choice not a straight jacket.

This is a very timely thread, I was just telling my wife that for years we have been told that living in the cities was more economical due to the scalability of public services. Rural living was much more expensive to maintain due to lack of population density.

However I have been looking for a home with a few acres for the same reasons everyone else is looking for a few acres. In doing so I have been checking the property tax rates of several areas (lots of areas) mostly in TN. What I have found is that the property tax rates are much lower in a lot of the rural counties than in the cities. The bigger the city the higher the rates.

If it is cheaper to have people live in a high density area why are the taxes higher to provide services for those people?

They expect fluoride treated water, garbage pick up, recycling, protection (like that's happening)...well, everything. Lots of decent places in the south were ruined by yankees moving in and then demanding all the services they had in Nuyawk city.

The bigger the city the higher the rates, the larger the bureaucracy, the larger the graft.

I’m still pissed that I won’t be able to go to my favorite shooting range tomorrow because its a hundred mile drive, one way.
