Good morning guys needing some advice. Currently shooting a tikka with a 24” proof carbon prefit with 168g Berger vld with 56.7g of h4350 giving me 2880fps. Do y’all think any of these other powders I have on hand would give me any more velocity? Imr4451, imr4955, hybrid 100, or imr7828

7828 probably would have a lil move speed to offer but its not temp stable like h4350 is....

My chrony was down for awhile so I don't have any FPS data for you.
7828 shot some nice groups, never went above 57gr (162 ELDX)
H1000 did well with 168gr VLD Hunter (59.3gr) and better with 175 ELDX (60 gr)
H4831SC 58gr showed promise (162 ELDX)
I was comfortable with the idea of going higher on all of the above, no pressure signs.

IMR 4955 showed pressure signs for me @ 57gr, moved it to the back wall

I found and tried ReLoader 26, after a few range trips I bought some 8lb jugs and never looked back.

Chris Hodgdon recommended H4831SC for me which is what I have been using ever since. I was getting fairly good velocity without having to push too much for ELR.

I am shooting the 151 solid Flatlines from Warner / PVA around 3150 out of a 30" barrel. Intentinonally not pushing for higher velocity.

Might give R23 a try with the 168’s. If you can find it. I’m using it with berger 175’s and 180’s.

I am getting 2980 fps with 162 grain eldx and H1000. I was around 3050 with RL26 but not for sure on exact number because I couldn't get a decent group to play with so I didn't write it down.

What brand barrel are you running? I’m really wanting to try and get to the 2950 mark. Iv gone all the way up to 57g of h4350 with no pressure

I have a proof carbon. I am running 63 grains of H1000.
