Be the one that goes in to work. Be the one that works. Be the one that learns skills that are more than your original skill set. Be the one that is seen, known as something other than a face on a PC, and relied upon. Get the promotion, get the money.

Stay home, get paid and not much else for years.

There is a huge opportunity in America right now for those that see it. Much of the competition for raises and career advancement just removed themselves from the field.
