    Hey fellas,

As most of you know we have been re tubing Pvs-27s for quite a while now. We have since started re tubing Pvs-22 (OSTI),Pvs-24 and 2124-LRs. At the start of the year I finally got around to making the much needed tools to correctly open and disassemble Pvs-30,30 refurbs and 26s. We have successfully re tubed several of them so far and we are now publicly offering the service to our customers.

KAC has said that the Pvs-30 refurbs are no longer supported by them. Meaning, if it breaks, sucks to be you. Well now if it breaks, it still sucks to be you, but at least it’s not a paper weight and it can be fixed.

Before you ask, YES ITS COLLIMATED. It will be within 1 MOA (usually closer to 1/4-1/2 but I guarantee 1MOA). The collimation is warrantied for life. If it ever shifts I’ll fix it for free.

If you have a broken 30 and do not wish to spend anymore money on it to get it going your housing just went up in value! I will buy them and others will now also since they can get it going for much cheaper than a new one from knights.

I have tubes for these but if you already have a tube I will gladly install it for you. I have high spec L3 and Elbit tubes on hand at all times. Once I start on your unit it takes roughly a week to get the swap completed, collimated, tested and packed up for FedEx.

    Prices are as follows:
Re Tube service (your 30,your tube)
    $1750

Re Tube with L3 WP unfilmed tube (your 30)
    $5500

Re Tube with Elbit WP (your 30)
    $4500

Complete 30 with L3 WP unfilmed tube
(These will be very limited due to the amount of available housings)
    $10,850

    Complete 30 with WP Elbit
(Again very limited supply will be available)
    $9,850

Prices are subject to change, with this inflation spiraling out of control these tubes could increase in price any day. My labor will not increase.

If you have any questions feel free to ask away here, message me or call me at the number below. We are not planning to re tube KAC PVS-22s at this time. We can do it no problem but the prism/tube combination is likely to cause a problem with focal length and edge to edge clarity. If you have one and your curious what I’m talking about please ask, I’d like to explain.

As always, thank you very much for your continued support over the years. It’s much appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Jay

Few days ago I’ve shot PVS27 L3 WP high FOM that been done by Jay .
Amazing tube , 0 moa shift at 307yards ! Have not shot further yet but man I could see 10” wide stumps at 1280 yards and definitely could make confident shots with starlight + 1/4 of the moon and some light from the building behind me ..no illuminators used ..

    PVS-30 inbound.

<grumble>I bought it from a member here on the hide and as soon as I put batteries in it and turned it on, before I was able to even take off the objective lens cover, it started gating non-stop. </grumble> I'm calling it a win since I'll get a modern super high FOM tube in it and I like seeing private individuals getting into true rare-air industries.

I’ll get it fixed right up my friend!

    Is the PVS-26 Knights REtub-able?

I just read what he wrote again.

Fella’s I’ve been swamped, which is good but there’s only one of me so I’ve become horrible at getting back to messages and forums. My apologies on that. But yes, we do the 26 from KAC as well as any other clip on that’s worth having. No we don’t work on ATN haha.

Meanwhile check out this 3367 FOM L3 tube in this Pvs-30! The video looks nothing like looking through the actual unit but even the video is good.

No one does it like Jay. I doubt even KAC or Flir themselves could do as well.
I would have to agree!! Last time I was this excited for darkness to come, I was holding a PVS14.

@Surgeon_Shooter thank you so much for the time and effort put into this one! I was blown away by the first Elbit PVS30 you did a couple years back, and patience has definitely paid off on this one! To the other member here who made this one possible, thank you (you know who you are).

As good as Jay is, he can’t make these tubes just appear!

Just came in from taking a look and holy smokes! 3500 FOM does not disappoint, the image I saw tonight (moonless, cloudy night, looking into a dark ditch with trees) was every bit as good as the 2875 FOM Elbit PVS30 on a full moon night.

I’ll admit, I had a quick panic moment when I couldn’t get a crisp picture, but then I realized my focus on my day scope was set to minimum focus instead of maximum focus.

Shaking off the embarrassment of my mistake, the focused image was nothing short of impressive. In completely dark conditions, I was dry firing on fence posts at 600 yds (furthest fence line I had) with the gain turned down. 20x (max I have) is easily supported with no illumination (or moon).

This process was almost 2 years in the making, and my expectations were seriously exceeded!! If you can dream it, Jay can do it!

Here’s another pic of his masterpiece of a paint job

And Jay say what you want, there’s a dick emoji hidden. Sometimes ya just can’t help it :ROFLMAO:
